Hopefully ACCC rips them too if they pull a Kogan

      • One has to wonder how clever dick got away with it after so many expeditions?

        • Well pulling crap like this were just 1 of many issues why they folded.

        • @hippyhippy:

Of course they pissed off customers, I was wondering how they dodged the ACCC for so long…

        • +2

@ninetyNineCents: guess ozbargainers couldnt be stuffed reporting them. Couldnt be hard to since the proof is in the cache lol… someone should make a report to accc button for ozbargain that automatically reports lol … now thats an idea.

        • @hippyhippy:

Perhaps dick went broke not because of poor sales but continued accc fines. Day d
After day of these fake raise and drop with large fines is what broke dicks back. Not sure how we never heard about it in the news.

        • +1

          @hippyhippy:

That's an excellent way to waste a while lot of the ACCC's time. So many erroneous reports 😀

  • CBINGLEE20 is from binglee

    SAUA7C7LQ96F is from ebay.

correct me if am wrong ! first post :-|

    • That SAUA code is a targeted offer, see here. I've removed that from your post to avoid confusion.

    • Fantastic buy!!!

    • EVERYTHING*

      • -7

So everything they sell is ozbargain worthy and nothing is overpriced?

        • +2

I don't think you've ever had anything positive to say about an eBay deal regardless of whether the price was jacked or not.

        • @BlazinPast: They are called 'armchair snipers'.
Coming soon to a deal near you 2016

  • anything good here?

  • +2

looool their memory cards so over priced.

  • Any recommended Bosch dishwasher and fridge?

    • -3

Yes, I recommend you don't get a Bosch dishwasher. Terrible.

      • +9

Ours is amazing. 3 years washing at least once a day. Still washes brand new.

        • +1

Our house has had 3 dishwashers in 25 years. Miele, Dishlex, Bosch. Bosch is ~10 years old, still spotless & going strong. A wash every 1-3 days.

      • have had a bosch slimline for 2 years + now, has been fine….

        • Both mine and my parents Bosch have been fantastic. Same for my bosch washing machine. In my experience with white goods however, the more mechanical/less electronic the better as well.

    • +2

I can't see a Bosch on there? Of the ones they sell this LG is only "Choice Buy". Would come it at $687 before cashback
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-LG-LD-1481W4-60cm-Freestandin…

      • This one any good?

        • I would avoid LG and Samsung for white goods.

        • @Xizor: I have a samsung fridge that i bought over a year ago and haven't had a problem with it.

        • +1

          @snook:

Both me and a mate bought Samsung fridges a few years ago and they both died within 12 months of warranty ending. Results vary between models like anything i guess, and looking back reviews were not good… i should of checked reviews when buying.

        • @Xizor: the only thing i could see for my particular fridge was that it rusted around the water tray but it hardly gets used so it's never wet. My experience with ice makers is that they all die within about 5 years or need work or whatever. I personally wouldn't waste money on an ice making fridge but that part wasn't my choice.

Guess I get to wait and see now.

        • Yeah neither would i. Our fridges were your standard run of the mill, nothing fancy like ice makers or digital displays. Just died without warning. This was just before the new consumer protection laws and warranty etc came in so i had no leg to stand on. Replaced it with an equivalent Westinghouse model which had decent reviews so time will tell.

        • @Xizor: what brand do you recommend?

        • @congngo:

I am no expert so please do not take too much from my experience…. For budget i would go Westinghouse (which i did). Some models will be basically the same between westinhouse/kelvinator/electrolux (i think i got that right) bar some internals making them more expensive but more energy efficient. Binglee have always been good for me but online appliancesonline cannot be beaten as far as service/support go, really quick delivery too and take the old one away… but yeah just make sure you read reviews especially for which ever model you're looking at regardless of brand and make sure it has a competitive warranty period. Who the heck knows when these things die really.

        • @congngo:
          Mitsubishi, Sharp, LG.

      • Did you have a link to the cashback?

        • Just Cashrewards, click through from top of page

  • +1

    Thanks.

I just hope he hasn't pulled a "Kogan" on us by inflating prices by 10-15% lol

    • Most seem to be at the higher end of prices, so far haven't seen anything that's eye-catchingly cheap with the discount…

  • From the eBay rep:

    • Running from 10.00am on 21 January 2016 until 23.59 (AEDT) on 25 January 2016.
    • 20% discount applies to item costs only, and does not apply to postage.
    • Thank you.

    • +3

So you'd be wanting to get your orders in on the 21st - 23rd of January, just in case eBay decide they might end the promotion early … again ;)

  • Camera wise, anyone know if I could claim the Nikon cashback if I buy through here?

    • -4

Possibly. Possibly not. Teds is cheaper for the guaranteed cashback, a risk but a calculated one.

      • +1

        Possibly. Possibly not.

        Rubbish input.

    • +2

you should be able to claim. you'd have a receipt with your order.

    • I successfully applied for the Nikon cashback after purchasing a camera during this sale.

  • Anyone know if SAUA7C7LQ96F and CBINGLEE20 can be stacked?

  • Has anyone had any experience with the Samsung SLC430W laser printer? Been trying to find a decent one that takes affordable compatible toners. Thanks :)

Why not spend bit more to get scan copy print all in one? Scanning feature is quite useful.

      • I have a few inkjets lying around for scanning but i'm open to anything as long as it is cheap to run and is laser colour (Edit: linked the wrong toners).

    • +2

I bought a samsung all-in-one laser years ago that developed a paper feeding fault with less than 4000 page printed, died just outside the warranty period too. Fixing the issue would cost more than the printer. - bought a 2nd hand Brother laser printer off ebay less than $30, it was retired from a commercial office and already had over 15k+ pages , but continued to work for over 3+ years for me.

My friend had a color laser samsung which had an roller issue too just outside 2 years.. only reason we bought samsung was they were the cheapest with all the features.. but knowing their quality now I wouldn't recommend Samsung base on past experiences , i suggest you spend a bit more to get Brother/Fujixerox.

      • Thanks Ash, yup I'll go with the Fuji Xerox XP225W model. Would you happen to have any past experience with this particular one? Thanks :)

  • Coincidence with dicksmith clearance sale start tomorrow?

  • +2

no shipping to victoria on tv's? :|

    • sucks

    • Same with the Dyson and printer. Seems like anything over a moderate size box won't be shipped :(

  • I clicked buy it now on an item earlier this morning but didn't pay. Am I able to enter the code tomorrow and still get the discount?

    • Probably - you enter the code at checkout.

Also nothing stopping you from placing a new order, but you might get a non-payment report for the 1st order.

  • What a shame they are not doing reverse cycle heating/cooling. Mine blew up on Sunday. Looking for something around the 8KW mark Daiken/Panasonic/Mitsu

I've got a Bing Lee gift card; am I able to use that in Bing Lee's Ebay store?

    • +3

You won't be able to use it, as you are paying eBay and not Bing Lee directly.

  • Dc54 and dc37 are out of stock…

All I see is "In-store pick up only" / Click n' Collect.

    • Bing Lee website has postage calculator. Ebay store does not. Only good for those that can pickup items

  • login to eBay..

  • Mums tv blew up. What's a decent 55to60 inch worth looking at.
Just needs to be standard hd.
    Thanks

    • What do you mean by standard HD?
      HD is a standard…

      • Sorry I meant not UHD as in 4k… She doesn't need that.

        • -4

      https://www.binglee.com.au/samsung-ua65ju7000-65-uhd-led-tv

      • Wow, they are good at maths..

    • That's actually a really good price for this TV. I've been waiting for sales since before xmas, and this TV hasn't been under $3k. Good Guys, Bing Lee and JB are constantly the same price doing daily matching, so it wouldn't surprise me if Bing drop their price to match it later today.

Don't mistake the crappy EBAY discount for a genuine good price on this TV.

    • Sent them a message to match thegoodguys $2895 on ebay. Let's see what happens
