Stanley 133pc Mechanics Tool Kit and Cabinet - Supercheap Auto eBay Group Deal - $259 Delivered

60

Hi guys, I've been on the lookout for a reasonably priced tool storage unit for a while now. The ones sold by Kincrome start at around $500 at Bunnings and this deal has free Australia wide delivery!

Might not be the highest quality unit, but perfect for a weekend woodworker like myself. Hope it is useful for some of you

Cheers

Sorry pal this has been below $150 before and even at that price it's honestly junk. Kind of sad considering the great brand.

I got mine for $160. The tools are great, but quite small (which was fine for me, I needed smaller stuff).
The cabinet's not great, but not junk. The drawers still move freely with weight in them, only issue is that the don't open as far as they should.

    • Wow, not worth it for $150! Ok, I figured stanley would produce a quality product, but maybe this will be a regretful purchase. Thanks for letting me know - wouldn't have posted if I'd known!

    • Why did you up-vote it?

Yep i have one paid $199 a few yeats back. Tools are ok but the cabinet is junk

  • I'm surprised to hear that, I have a set of Stanley sockets and spanners and the quality is there, do these differ?

    • FYI the Stanley brand was purchased by another company and is now cheap (so some say, I find it middle-tier) chinese stuff

I'd be in if it was a Stan Lee tool set.

  • I was so close to buying one of these when they were on that really good sale, but I went and checked them out at super cheap and the quality of the cabinet is really bad. Thin cheap material and drawers that would hardly be hard to open once filled up. The tools looked good enough but the cabinet as the others have said is useless.

  • I dont think it's junk. .. if this was 150 like i got it for its pretty good for the price considering u get a whole socket set. 259 not so good.

  • Mine has had fairly heavy use for a few years now. The top box especially. The bottoms of the drawers have bowed down so it doesn't open and close without taking the draw below with it. Its on its last legs for sure, but I reckon I've had my moneys worth out of it for the $150 or whatever it was. Wouldn't buy it again even for that price though. The tools themselves are fine.

Sorry guys, thought this would be a quality product but judging by posts it may not be!

Definitely appreciate the post OP!! Never withhold a possible bargain :)

  • I just tried opening the web link in the desription and it's saying that the deal is not available.

This link however works. They've changed it to another web page and restarted at 0 buyers.

Doesn't appear to be selling very quick though at that price.
