What is the thickness of them?

  • Hi mate

I'm keen on these, how small do they fold down to?

Any estimate for shipping to Perth?

    Cheers~

  • Hi,

the vibrant, spk1 and spk2 are 10cm thick.. and the spk4 and race are 15cm thick.

They are a high pressure board (10 - 15psi) so when inflated they become very hard.

when deflated they roll up and fit in a bag..that you can easily carry.. put in the boot of a very small car.. etc.
i also am selling these on fleabay, which have additional pictures if you want. my user name is premiummarineaustralia

regards postage, i would have to quote each one separately, so please email me what item you were after and what your address is.

    • How long does it take to inflate and deflate? Is it practical to do this on every trip to the water (to avoid buying car roof fittings)? Is there a video clip of the process?

Check out YouTube for inflatable sups. Yol b impressed

    • Can you please provide the weight and packed up size of each one?

      • Depends on the model.. the boxed sizes are say average 40cm x 40cm x80cm without paddle.. the size of it in the bag.. wrapped up about 40cm diameter and the width of the board. they are fkexible deflated.. so you could pack them flatter if you want rather then a circle if you get what i meen.

        • Do they come with a carry bag? Also, do they have a recess for you hand when carrying?

        • @ryangus:

yes they come with a carry bag (nothing fantastic, but just something to put everything in). yes they have a carry handle.. the board itself when inflated is not that heavy.. depends on the model but around 10kg, the bigger ones being a few kg heavier.

  • Hi,

Depends how quick you are.. from around 2 mins to 5 mins.. if you get a few of them.. may be good to get the electric pump.. this has 2 pumps in it.. a high volume low pressure one which starts of.. then switches to a high pressure low volume to reach the high pressure needed.

    • What electric pump?

      • I have not got them on my website yet as just got them in stock.. its a electric pump which has both high volume low pressure and low volume high pressure pumps in the one pump so can inflate these to the high pressure required. They typically are used for the inflatable boats like the surf life rescue boats.

        • I understand what they are, just need more info regarding cost, size, time to inflate etc

        • @ryangus:

Hi will sell then to ozbargain members for 100.. they are about size of a small car battery.. but not that heavy.. didnt time it.. but its about 1 or 2 mins to inflate.

  • Can the electronic pump be used for other tasks?

  • yeah it can be used for other inflatables including boats.. i guess even air mattreses etc depending on the valve type used.

its similer to this one :

    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/New-12V-Electric-Air-Pump-Avon-Ac…

but doing it for 100 for ozbargainers until monday.

  • Just a suggestion OP. To generate more website sales and confidence in buyers, you may want to consider an SSL certificate.

    Goodluck with the side business.

  • What are the weight capacities for the boards? Only the Vibrant has one liated at 70kg.

    • weight capacities:

      race 160kg
      spk4 160kg
      spk2 115kg
      spk1 95kg

the more "oversized" you get the paddle board the more stable it will be.
for example if you are 110-115kg.. if your good at balancing you will be okkay on the spk2.. however i would recommend the spk4 or race, as it will be much more stable for you.. and you will get more enjoyment out of it.

  • Yeah i know.. plenty to do.. advertising.. better website.. etc.. just starting this in my "spare" time.. not really anything thats going to be making me heaps of $$$.. i just wanted to get some after a holiday in hawaii.. and the choices here in australia were either very expensive.. or the cheaper ones that are more like pool toy material. so ended up importing my own..
