  • Thank you for posting the specials.

Would you please check the catalogue and clarify the Up and Go special.

The Energise range is mentioned in the big list in the body of the post, but the title has been amended to suggest the standard Up and Go product is included.

    Thanks for your help.

    • That's one product that has caught my attention as well. The standard Up & Go has sugar-reduced variety so I wonder if there's one in the Energise variety too.

    • The Up & Go Energise 3x 250ml are the ones on special. The title is that way purely to allow it to fit.

  • Last week when I went to coles peanut butter up&go was $1.50 3pk.

    • peanut butter up&go was $1.50 3pk.

There is a peanut butter Up & Go version? You learn new stuff everyday. :)

  • Sanitarium Peanut Butter 375g $2.00

Does this include the No Added Sugar/Salt variety?

  • Link to actual catalogue?

Won't be officially there until 5pm Monday.

      • +1

So how the OP can know about these all the special so early?

        • +2

Some Salmat walkers deliver the papers early. Other Salmat walkers share their catalogues with contacts.

        • @pointscrazy: Yep we deliver and get the catalogues on Sunday. Not allowed to deliver though till Tuesday. So printers, delivery drivers etc would have access to them even earlier.

  • Nature's Way Glucosamine Tablets 180pk $20.00

    how value is this?

      how value is this?

      As much as your grammar.

      • are you such helpful all the time or only occasionally?

Gotta get some of that Imperial Leather Boday Wash

  • Dr Oetker $4

Pretty sure last year "half price" was $3.75

    • It's not listed as 1/2 price. It's normally $7.50 , but down to $4.00 for the week.

      • Normally $7.50 at Woolies and $8.25 at Coles according to https://www.pricehipster.com.au/. Now I'm very confused.

        • +8

Catalogue shows: Was $7.50, Save $3.50, Now $4.00

What I mean by my comment is that I never said it was half price, that's why it's listed under 'Other Notables'.

Red Rock Deli chips are now 165g? I guess it's not only the prices that are down.

I tend to buy my chips from Aldi now. They taste quite good, and the packets are 200g. Makes Red Rock look positively anaemic.

    • goddammit im looking forward to Aldi opening mid year \o/

    • Red Rock Deli chips are now 165g?

They'll be $150 grams next year.
In 5 years time, they'll be 50 grams.
In 10 years time, it will defy the laws of physics and spontaneously disappear into the ether from every grocery store in the country.

      • But the price has been kept down down by Coles for 5 years since…2015!

        • If that's the case then Coles obviously are not bound by temporal constraints in the market and Woolworths would do well not to underestimate their time-travelling competitors.

    • +2

I remember them being 200 or 220 grams when they first arrived in Aus, or am i mistaken?

  • Nature's Goodness Grainfree Dog Food 3kg $7.75

Almost paid $15.50 just before. Thanks! Will stock up on Wednesday.

  • Thanks TA

Since when is this shit ozbargain worthy? I can't stand seeing this shit in my mailbox or on the ozbargain home screen.

This used to be a place of genuinely interesting bargains, now it's just a marketing platform/electronic catalogue.

    • +6

We've been waiting 4 years for your first OzB worthy post :)

    • apart from that, some idiots are always alert to criticize or mock some comments.

    • Well Obviously by your Post count, you have contributed a lot…

      • i signed up yesterday.

        • You Signed up on the 18/01/2016, ;) guess i should mention welcome to the reply system lol. I replied to tren not you baldur

(or did i click reply on the wrong person)

Did you receive a red notification with a message with my name or did you happen to come back here to see replies?

    • Just need to trim off a few profanities, and sweeten up the attitude a tad, otherwise I liked it.
Keep it up tren. (I'm not much better sometimes)

  • SunRice Medium Grain Brown or White Rice $6.80, is this 5kg or 10kg?
Went thru catalog twice couldn't find it. Maybe I have a blindspot.

Aha, WA catalog might be why. No SunRice Medium rice in it.

    • 5kg obviously.

      • Thanks

  • I would love to see supermarkets provide a majority of specials on stuff that is actual value add to the overall health of the population e.g. fruit and vegetables, instead of stuff to make us fatter.

Side thought - over the past 2 years I have noticed priced creeping up on a lot of items, then introducing "discounts" on individual or multiple buys (best example, Lindt chocolate).

  • This is unusual. No discounts on Voda/Optus or Telstra recharges in Coles OR Woolies catalogue for once. Damn.Need a voda one.

    • Isn't there a deal on Voda in the current Woolworths catalogue which ends tomorrow. I saw something as I was leaving Woolworths today which said 20% off one of the Voda products. Not with Voda so didn't pay much attention.

      • Only 20% off $40 or $50 recharges. Limited.
