Doesn't Australia work on a negative credit rating? Ie. They only care about negative reports on your account

For rewarding you applying for a credit card, you'd think a $100 credit (or even $50) statement credit would make more sense.
They use gift cards because people don't always spend them.
It was a free $150 giftcard last year October,so do not bother till they offer this amount of giftcard.

I've been rejected by Woolies two times (possibly three?).
This was during the free and easy credit throw aways and banks were giving out 10k+ limits without a worry.
Never got rejected by any other institute….

Why would you apply more than once? If your credit situation hasn't changed then why would you think you'll get approved the second time round or even third time round?

Rather than just left on the card.I got the $100 egift card. Was curious as to how much did I need to spend on the credit card to get the $100, any amount works. Also came way before 8 weeks.

I got my $150 GC in my email, only made like $40 worth of spend, l did apply in December when it was still $150, good deal, thumbs UP!
They removed $10 off when you spend $100 on Wooliesonline, no love now.
