Thanks for bringing that up. I see the mods have corrected the title.
I was surprised to find that out as there was no mention of a minimum spend in the email I received.
I remember when shipping on all purchases was free from this site and they actually had consistently competitive prices and didn't sell a load of unrelated crap. Ozgameshop
I also remember that and prefer it. But it's still a good company in my books.
If they're not cheap enough just go elsewhere. Sometimes I do.
They were good back then because they were still in competition with Zavvi and 365games. I don't know what happened to the UK sites, but once ozgameshop became known well enough, they did the normal thing and raised margins.
I haven't bought anything off OzGS in almost 2 years because there's really been no great deals.

Yeah, definitely was better in those days. Once the Aussie dollar started weakening against the British Pound the great deals became fewer and farther between and free shipping became a special offer as opposed to a standard thing.
I think OzG has been 'under new management' for the past year or two as well.
ozgameshop have really gone down the shitter in my book. In between the sudden onset of shipping costs, ridiculous shipping times and the fact that the last game I got from them was loose and floating around in its case really has me reluctant to ever buy from there again. I hope people from ozgameshop read this and act accordingly as their customer service has really gone down the drain. Oh, and like Kaiserkid7 the deliberate misleading about shipping costs and the like even in this deal. It's only $20 below the cutoff point anyway so what a complete joke (not to mention it's only standard shipping, though it's not like "express" is any better), not to mention of course you can't use any other vouchers with because we can't have you saving money now can we? Even last time when they did free shipping it at least wasn't a code so you could use your own to increase it but of course they've cottoned on to that and want to prevent us from actually saving money.
It seems like that's the case when any site gets popular. They no longer have to be competitive so they just go back to shady business practices and like other people are saying they're not even really competitive anymore.
Shame it was a crap experience. I just bought Carcassone last week and it was a good price and arrived within 5 business days. Can't complain…
Really sucks that you can't use a player points voucher in conjunction with the free shipping.
I have noticed they have raised prices on a few items i was eyeing last week, pretty shady.
Might want to include minimum $30 spend, it's not written anywhere that I could see but it came up during check out.
