    Yes, EVO is fine for Hero 4 SIlver.
    It's the Hero 4 Black's 4K video recording that you might want to consider a faster card.

      In theory, it should be fine, but there are people on forums claiming the EVO occasionally chokes up on the Silver 4.
      Might be problematic for burst photos or 4k at 15fps.

    I run a 32GB EVO on my HERO 4 Silver — have done for a year now — no problems for me. I mainly shoot 1080-60, 1440-48 and WVGA-240.
