  • Good post, I'll try something to buy. 6% off.

dosent apply to everything. ie. xiaomi yi

    • Which Xiaomi Yi?

    • Does this help (also see my huge long post further down)…

5% off (some) Yi = CODE XiaoYiDV

Also test this one (Some Yi is in Automotive DVR category):

$10 off for all Automobiles when order over $70 - CODE BGdeal

I haven't tested these, but worth a try (just drop them into Cart, try to apply codes)

  • Anything worth getting? Was going to post this, but couldnt find any deals on the banggood site, all the xiaomi items are at full price.

It's not 6% off sitewide if there are some exclusions……

Keep in mind that shipping will be quite delayed as most suppliers will be closed for the new year.

  • Might buy a $2 kitchen gadget to test their shipping speed. If they take less than 2 months which is faster than DX then buy more stuff later on.

    • They're not the worse, most things I've ordered arrived after around a month.. One package took around a month and a half, though that was around Christmas time.

This is nothing particularly special… Banggood almost always have a 6% or 7% Sitewide coupon code running.

If you open an account with them, you get heaps more codes (better than this too)

Just open link "My Account" to get to the summary page, then "Hot Coupons" on the right. Then click all the tabs like "Popular", "New", "Expiring Soon". Also make sure to look through "Categories", as there are gems in there sometimes

    Some examples…

    10% off ALL Blitzwolf = Coupon Code 12blitzw (expires Jun 30 2016)

12% off all SOLDERING AND WELDING EQUIPMENT = Code WELDTOOL (expires Feb 29 2016)
    https://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Electrical-Soldering-Weld…

10% off all ELECTRONIC TOOLS = Code PROTOOL (expires Dec 15 2016)
    https://www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Professional-Instruments-…

    etc etc.

    UNDOCUMENTED ONE…

15% off ALL CLEARANCE ITEMS = Code 36bgc8
Do any search, the click to select "Clearance" filter (at the top of search results). Also, can access the category lists using main menu, and carefully reading the Mouse-Over Menus (look on extreme right side).

HERE IS A PRO TIP #1…

You can only use one code at a time. You waste money if you use the Sitewide 6% code on an item from (say) the Welding category. You also lose money if you process a general item using the code WELDTOOLS (you get 10% off one item, but miss out on 6% off the rest). So, the trick is to put your stuff into the Shopping Cart and keep a list of what category applies…

Then when you are ready to make payment, move everything except (say) Welding and Soldering into "Save For Later". Then click the checkboxes (on the left) to select all the items in the Category, apply the Code, then process Checkout and payment.

Then, move the next batch out of Save and back into the cart (eg: Arduino and electronic modules, which is 7% off) and apply the code for those, and process checkout for that batch.

At the end of all that stuff, do the remaining items using whatever Site-wide code is in effect.

You can also do exactly the same thing by using the check-boxes on the left side of the list… switch all of the lines to "OFF", then tick only those line items to process and pay in groups. I personally find that too confusing, but it's swings and round-abouts, then main thing is that you maximise your coupon returns.

Seems cumbersome, but it's not really too hard if you are organised. I currently have 25 items in my Cart and 5 more in Save For Later. Just use this exactly how you use EBay Watch List.

HERE IS A PRO TIP #2…

Carefully check the Shipping methods and Tracking in the Checkout. At the end of each group of items from a particular warehouse, there is a shipping section. You can often get Free Registered Post and/or Free Insurance if you process orders in batches and select options carefully. Also, sometimes it switches on tracking (at about $2.40) which is often not desirable.

    • Thanks. I didn't even know about most of that stuff. It'll go great with all of my points.

      • The coupons that you buy from the Banggood points cannot be used together with Site Coupons.

If you are savvy, you will find that the coupon points aren't always the best value (especially since Coupon Codes are "free").

I'm still storing mine (got heaps over Christmas from 30 days of playing the "Socks" promo game every day) LOL.

        • Disappointing. I'll just have to use my affiliate points then.

        • @Clear:

You should post up how that Affiliate thing works. The stuff there is cheap, but cheaper is always good :-D

What people probably should know is that Banggood is pretty much the new DX. The reviews and forums are not as good as DX, but after research is done then I always find Banggood pretty reasonably priced.

For my huge amounts of gadget and component purchases, I'd say 60% is ebay (better for high quantity lots) and 40% Banggood. I'd guess I do a couple of large orders each month there.

        • @llama: Having affiliate links is usually how. Someone clicks and makes a purchase in X amount of days and you get 4-8% of the total in points. After a period of days (90 I think) you can use the points at checkout, turn into coupons or have them converted to cash and paid directly to you. 100 points = $1.

Banggood are certainly cheaper than DX, but significantly smaller in comparison as they don't have as many direct warehouses. I've seen a lot of offices for a lot of sites and DX is one of the biggest. Certainly bigger than BG.

  • Argh just spent $300 USD yesterday!
