    • Me too!

  • Yeah new customers only

  • I wanna buy a guitar hero for wii, wich is $29.99 … Can't think any other stuff to buy … any idea?

  • How strange, I've had orders with them before but the code worked for me…also email said it was fine to share with Friends and Family.

Sorry to those who it hasn't worked for!

  • GRRRR I wannt get Borderlands for the PS3, but it's 39.99!!! Anyone know what the cheapest thing I can add to the order is to make it just over $40 so I can use this coupon???

    • It is a bucket of playdoh in the toy section, it is like $3.00

    • i'd go at least $10 and get something worthwhile (obviously) so you don't have to pay postage.

  • Anyone spotted awesome deals, like the $40 Super Mario Wii or the really cheap xbox live/cashback combo?

Just be careful if buying games. Even if the page shows the Australian version, you may end up getting an overseas US or UK version, which -might- affect your ability to trade-in at EB, GAME or JB later on.

I lodged a complaint to them about this practice, and waiting for a response. If the outcome is unsatisfactory (I get the game that they advertised, and I paid for), then I am considering filing a report with the ACCC over deceptive and misleading practices.

      • which game(s) was it that you bought?

        • Nintendo DS:

Professor Layton and the Curious Village => received UK version
Professor Layton and Pandora's Box => received Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (US version)

There's also loads of peeps in the previous threads who have mentioned that they've been receiving US/UK versions of PS3 and XBOX games.

          • @zzyss: I just love how they have to dumb it down for American audiences. I apologise as this in now way helps you with your problem, but it's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone all over again.

          • @zzyss: I ordered Professor Layton and Pandora's Box for $19.95, and this morning I received Professor Layton and Pandora's Box, and it was even the Australian version (cover/manual). So is it luck of the draw? Cheapest stock source? Inattentive packer?

            • @Nezuji: I got the UK version eventually. Yes, it really seems to be luck of the draw…

      • Just so you know, Fishpond is a actually a NZ company. So im not sure how far you will get with ACCC.

        • Thanks. I discovered that not long after I made the post. However, on their Terms and Conditions page they do explicitly state that they operate under the NZ "Consumer Guarantees Act 1993" which provides similar protection to consumers.

Quoting chapter and verse to them, I managed to get myself a favourable result (the correct copy of the game is being mailed to me).

To their credit, the Fishpond staff have been very responsive, patient and professional (have been dealing with Juanita and Jennie, for the record). It's just their system that sucks. Badly.

  • Just ordered Beatles and Lego Rock Band for $49.98 delivered :)

Was considering grabbing the singstar wireless mics earlier when they were $29.99, but sadly they went up in price.

    • Keep checking that site. Their prices always fluctuate.

Fishpond is dodgey and charges more on your credit card than what you were invoiced.
