  • Great deal mate, certainly looks to be about 50% off the case price of strongbow.

I see you are a new member! -
Keep up the good work - you have a good future ahead of you and can do well in this (bargain) industry

  • +1

bought two cases a month or so ago at $25 each, heaps better than strongbow.

  • Sweeter or dryer then regular Strongbow?

    • I've Only tried Strongbow sweet and this is Defintaly not sweeter.

    • Roughly the same as strongbow dry.

Good value but I still think 5 seeds or strongbow dry has a better taste.

  • Available in WA?

    • Not sure about the deal for $19.99 as its for a "short" shelf life product.
Full price appears to be $24.99 from 1st choice.
      Liquorland have them for $39.99.

  • Awesome find - I'm gonna goto town on these :)

  • "Imported James Busby Fine Wines & Spirits."

I'm fairly sure James Busby is a Coles-owned importer of product lines for the Coles group. Therefore you will only find this cider at Liquor Land, 1st choice and possibly vintage cellers

  • slabs of cider are 20% off at Woolworths/Safeway this week !!!

  • Similar to Strongbow AND Mercury? That doesn't make sense… Strongbow is made from pears and Mercury from Apples so they have completely different flavour. Is this apple cider or pear cider?

    • Not actually true.

Strongbow is 90% apple, 10% pear.

      Mercury is 100% apple.

  • I wouldn't have a clue, I just drink it ;)

It says on the bottle its packed with mouth watering apples.

  • Silvertone: Didn't believe you so I googled and that seems to be the case so sorry about that. It sure tastes like pear! YUCK! So does anyone know what Newtons is made from?

    • Yes, as dsm ninja said.

      "Mouth watering Apples"

  • I used to run a belgium beer bar on the goldcoast and we sold these for $7.50ea.. were quite popular but we swapped out for monteiths crushed apple cider as it was cheaper..

  • Accroding to 1st Choice Chadstone, VIC these are End Of Stock/Line.
They reduced the price to $24.99 and they flew out the door.
None in stock and no more to be found ever :(
