      I'm pretty sure reserving machines for EFTPOS only use is a nation wide policy. Every store I've been to has them.

        That's what the checkout staff see on their screen (minus the big blue popup, usually). At least it was when I worked in the Liquor department a few years back. Also as user 'ozgeek' said.
