        Same here. I only liked the teriyaki one. All the others were too salty for my palette.

          Yeah I think the teriyaki one too. The rest were all way too spicy for what they were marketed as (and I'm normally totally fine with any thai food), way too peppery, and too dry and tough.

      I like the 40g bags, one bag is perfect for a protein hit and it stays fresher :) Plus the sale on the big bags isnt much cheaper from past experience.

        The cheapest we can go is what we charge for the 40g bags. If we did a 500g bag deal it would equate to what the 40g bags are. At least you get variety and freshness :-)

      Depends on where you are in Australia and where you are in the queue.

      As we cook our product fresh to order and with Ozbargain deals we get swamped, we ask for up to 10 working days for our product to leave GJ HQ. Normally, without being ozbargained, it takes two days for us to get out. We do normally have most orders out within a couple days but ask for this allowance just in case.

      Once it leaves here it is in the hands of Australia Post- To give you an example from Brisbane too WA it is quoted 5-6 working days. From Brisbane to Sydney/Melbourne we find 2-3 working days is the norm.

    This is the best jerky I've ever tasted. I tried some random beef jerky at a BP once and after tasting Geronimo, the BP one just didn't have the same flavour.

    Has the recipe for Flamin Arrow changed since when it first came out? I got a bunch maybe 3-4 years ago that was incredibly hot, the last batch 6 months ago had hardly any heat at all.

        It definitely felt much less spicy, the first batch I could only eat a tiny bit at a time, the recent batch knocked off the whole bag in one go without a problem. Maybe there is just a fair bit of variability in heat? I know my ghost chilli's and habaneros change from chilli to chilli

          Yeah the old flaming arrow used to be really hot, but lately I have found it to be less hot than sidewinder.

          Be careful though sometimes you get a batch that is extremely hot.

      depends what variety you get.

      original is 2.1 per 100g

      pow wow is 24.5 per 100g

    In previous 400g bag deal I got two bags, 400g Sidewinder and 400g Spicy Shaman. Spicy Shaman was too salty and soy taste was overpowering, the jerky was not dry, it was very bendy, a lot of moisture left in it, but it was the immense seasoning overload that made it inedible. Worst jerky I've had. On the other hand the bag of Sidewinder was great, good amount of seasoning, very dry jerky that snaps when bent. Truly the best jerky I've had. I can't believe how different the two bags are.

    I sure hope you guys can get your product consistency better, because at this rate I won't keep purchasing from you, which is a shame, because at your best your my favorite jerkey, but please you need to somehow make sure every batch gets the right amount off seasoning and drying time instead of having some batches with overloaded seasoning and incorrect drying time. I also think you should reduce the amount of salt across the board in your seasonings, even though I didn't mind your Sidewinder it was still on the overly salty side, and Spicy Shaman was unbearably salty, please reduce the salt in your product, would taste better imo.

      On further inspection I found that the reason the Sidewinder is drier is because the meat has been cut thinner than the meat in Spicy Shaman, so that's where the inconsistency is which is varying the dryness of batches.

        I will look into it but just so you know everything is weight measured and slicer blades are fixed so thickness and recipe never changes. We can go through procedures and recipe with the spicy shaman and see if we can make some improvements. Again thank you for your feedback and have a great weekend.

    Third time i've ordered from them - loved everything the first two times around but this time around the two packets i've opened thus far (two different flavours) are significantly drier than usual. definitely preferred it a bit more moist and juicy.
