    • hi mate

  • Thankyou OP. Bought one.

surely the harvey norman $30 google credit for $10 via telstra prepaid credit is a much better deal than this?

Or am I missing something? (I haven't used the telstra prepaid thing yet)

    • I think the Telstra one has limitations on how much you can transfer in total or something like that, whereas this is just straight up credit, stackable to use however.

    • +5

Telsta credit is better value but much more annoying to activate.

      • +3

if you already have a mytesltra account, its not too hard.

      • telstra credit wins out.

    • Not sure I'm familiar with this one. Link please?

To clarify, I know about the SIM deal just not how to use it for purchases on an existing account.

      hi tongyun
our last email correspondence with you was on friday. Were waiting email response from google support as to which a/c's the codes were redeemed on. Im part of the ozb community and surely hundreds of customers can vouch for us. Its not like well sell you faulty vouchers via paypal and wrap our retail outlets up for your 90 vouchers.
Moreover, you have onsold 50 vouchers to someone as per your email. The interesting part is that the in game exchange rate devalued 1.5 times round about 3-4th feb and thats exactly when the issue arose. Vouchers were emailed to you on he 16th but it took you 2 weeks to get back to us, only after the ingame exchange rate was revised and on selling the vouchers was no more viable to your customers.
Well as i said, were still investigating. Please bear with us, and well resolve it amicably. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience if it turns out to be our fault.

just a heads up, I dealt with these guys also.

Your vouchers do expire, after some time.

Phonebot seems to purchase from Telstra (or at least that's what Google informed me), saying that they cannot help me when my codes expired (had already activated them on my google account) and that I have to speak to telstra.

SPoke with erroorfree but he wasnt able to help (although i appreciated a reply at least).

Just something to be aware of guys, dont leave it on your google account for over a year like silly me :p

Not sure who to try next, google or telstra but think it's $60 lost

        • So AussieMark, it expired after you redeemed them? or you did not redeem them at all? Is there a timeframe wherein I have to use the redeemed credit?
          Thank you

        • @kt71:

Apologies for the delay. Keep getting logged out.

They expired after I redeemed. It was one or two years

  • Hey Erroor,

      got it! :)

      • +1

FYI…last time Erroor had this offer, I purchased a bunch as well…had some problems with activating a couple of them.
Erroor was very helpful and resolved the issue as fast as he could.

Bought 2 as well, never had a problem in the past.

I buy regularly from phonebot. Always good customer service. Thanks for the offer.

  • Tried to buy but cannot use PayPal on mobile due to two step auth. Will do it from PC tonight.

  • +1

I just redeemed the 2 vouchers sent to me, however it stated an expiry of 1/11/16.
I only bought these since it stated there was no expiry, according to the T&C's.
Awaiting a response to my email sent to them..

    • do you mean google terms and conditions or phone bot?

Once you add them to your google account you get a little longer (Like 1 or 2 years).

    • hi mate
just emailed. From our previous experience, promotional Google credit did not have expiry but looks like they have amended that now and you have approx 9 months to use it, unless you top it up earlier in which case the latest expiration date of your redeemed balances will apply to your total balance. hopes it clarifies

  • Hey Erroor,
Order 7846 is paid, just want to know how long it'll take to receive my vouchers?
UPDATE: My bad, didn't read the title ( 1-2 business days) :P

Here are the terms I was going off where I thought it never expired (Some of the old deals also mentioned no expiry)

    https://play.google.com/intl/ALL_us/about/card-terms.html

    • hi mate
yah its a bit confusing, since they got two different "card terms sites". iv updated the description with correct info. (hopefully)

      • thanks,

I still dont fully understand the terms myself :)

if I could use credit to purchase stuff like a phone id buy a lot

        • i know i wish thats the case

few things i use the credit for

          • viber out call credit
          • google music subscription
          • books/mags
          • movie rentals
          • in app game purchases
      • It's not confusing at all.
You just linked to the wrong page. Own it.

One set of T&C's is for Gift Cards sales in the US and the other is for Promotional credit in Australia.

  • +1

You cant suddenly link to a different set of Terms and Conditions after putting out your offer where it explicity states:

    1. No Fees or Expiration. No fees or expiration dates apply to this Gift Card or Credit. Any refunded Google Play amounts, if applicable, will be credited back to your Google Play balance for future use under the same terms, unless otherwise required by law.

    I want a refund.

    • plz email us & our big wig will get back to you. thanks

    • where does it say no fees or expiration

      • +1

The Store rep changed the Terms and Conditions link.

        • you sure?

I think only my link said no expiry

Google has two T&C's one saying no expiry, one saying expiry. its confusing as

        • I got caught out. I bought this, redeemed it and got a pleasant surprise that it expires in November.

  • The T&C link states that it's valid for residents of the US — is this enforced? And more to the point, can I use it with my Google Play Store account registered in Australia? Sorry about the newbie question, I'm more accustomed to the Apple ecosystem where you can only redeem cards for accounts in country of purchase.

    • +1

That was because the Rep linked to the wrong T&C's.
He linked to the US terms for Gift Cards when he was actually selling Promotional credit in Australia.

      • That explains it - thanks subversion!

  • +1

Quite a battle to get a refund from these guys after they screwed us all on the Terms and conditions.

  • Purchased and had codes delivered in under 24hrs.
Bought before the real T&C's were posted though. May not have purchased if I'd known that the credit would expire.

The concept that money can "expire" is a massive rip-off. The millions that some companies make off of expired gift cards should be considered fraud.
I'm sure I can spend it, but the principle of expiring credit is something that i usually boycott.

    • Finally got my refund. And they let me keep the credit, since they couldn't figure out how to cancel the redeemed vouchers. Serves them right for misleading me. Won't be dealing with these guys in the future.

      • your welcome! - some ppl are never happy!

        • Would have been a happy customer if you stuck to your original T&C's. Simple

  • How long does it usually take for the codes to be delivered?

My order has been marked as "complete" however i have yet to receive the codes.

    • +2

I'm with you in the same boat, I assume it will take 1-2 business days? ( title)

      • moost of the orders were emailed today. rest tomo

        • Just a friedly reminder: my order- 7846 :P

  • Can this be used to purchase chromecast from google store?

    • only electronic purchases
