That is not bad, 8 sharpies for $4. I prefer the gold, silver and metallic colours over the pop ones even if they're a bit more expensive each.

I just went there less than an hour ago and they are $6.99 for the electro pop 5 pack and $6.25 (or something) for the gold/silver/brow. The new ticketing says 17/02 - 01/03. No $2 sharpies were seen in the stationary aisle.
Have you checked right store? There are 2 Stores in Carnegie.
This Woolworths is back side of the Australia Post. ( Not the one under Spotlight ). Today afternoon I checked it's still $2.

May be can you try asking for price match by showing the picture ?
Woolworths Walkerville SA has them @ $6.99 and refused to price match as they said they could not determine when the photo was taken and he said he thought that deal finished 2 months ago. :-(
The special tag has start date and end date i.e 15/02 to 01/03. (Plz zoom the picture then you can see the date on the tag).or I can upload receipt if you want.

Macquarie Centre Woolworths had Sharpies on special when I checked a few days ago. I'm not sure if they were these exact prices. I picked up a black Twin Tip for $1.25 or so. (Don't know how much Sharpies normally cost but this seemed like a good deal to me at the time.)
My local woollies is 6.99!! :(
