$168 price error, hurry up buy buy buy.

    • +1

Why bother they probably will not honour the pricing error and refund the money.

    • +1

damn, they fixed the error :(

  • What am I missing? Why is it so expensive? 60MB/s is not that impressive.

    EDIT: Oh NVM. Price corrected.

  • +2

Any deals on standard size SD cards?

  • Awesome price, thanks TA.
Is Cashback via CR available for this deal?

    • +2

Yep, confirmed with Francesca that sales are commissionable via CR.

      • That seals the deal, awesome!

    2 x 32gb for 36 dollars
    1 x 64gb for $30 delivered

    not a hard choice really

    • +5

      $16 + $16 = $32
      but I get your point

      • cant edit my post, but that is what i mean haha

    • +1

      Where's the 64gig for $30? Can't see it anywhere

    • +8

      Extreme 64GB 60MB/s U3 for $30? Where?

    • Yeah, I want 64GB of the same card too, but not seeing that price?

    • Don't tell us that $30 64GB card is just the "crappy" Sandisk Ultra :P

    • I'm gonna struggle putting 1 card in two phones at once.

2x32GB is good for my needs.

  • -1

Evo for 10$ at shopping square..

    • There's $3.95 shipping on that one.
Also the speed is UHS-I U1, not UHS-I U3, like this one here. Very big difference when push comes to shove.

      • oh yeah my bad.. spoke too soon…. i thought its a sandisk ultra.. definitely ill neg myself if i could… lol

        • Yeah, gotta be very careful with these SD/microSD cards, every model has different speeds and ratings and it's easy to get lost in the sea of numbers!

        • Dw. I done it for you.

  • +2

Any chance we can get a deal on a decent USB SD/MicroSD card reader?

Turns out I have a sudden need for one…

  • Anu extreme pros on sale tightarse?

  • +1

    SORE-ARSE too many Micro StD's

  • Another good deal from TA. I still have mine bought from last year, sitting there as a backup card.

  • +3

TA - just did a quick check on Amazon and according to this link 60MB/s might be an old model (SDSDQXN-032G-G46A)?

    http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-Memory-Adapte-SDSDQXN-…

With the newer one listed as 90MB/s on the retail packaging (SDSQXNE-032G-GN6MA):
    http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extreme-microSDHC-Adapter-SDSQ…

    Can you please confirm?

    • +5

      Hi kacak,

This is the older version with read 60MB/s and write 40MB/s.
It's a good price for a U3 card, fits the Go Pro too :)

      Regards
      Francesca

      • Thanks for confirming, still a good deal I guess but I prefer to wait for the newer model 😀

  • urghhh- gopro session and this - great combo for today!

  • For $16.50 (80MB speed)

SANDISK 32GB Ultra Micro SDHC TF MEMORY Card Class 10 80MB 32G extreme microSD for $16.50 @ ebay without any code (Shipping from Sydney)

LOL thats an Ultra not even a U1 rated card, which means probably less than 10 MB/s sustained write speeds. This card is rated at 60 MB/s reads and 40 MB/s writes. Extreme range is way way faster than Ultras which uses dodgy caching to get to that 80 MB/s reads.

Only con is that this is an older model, the newer model is advertised at 90 MB/s reads and 50 MB/s writes.

      • @regenade

Thanks for indirectly answering my query a few post above 😀
So you're pretty certain this is the older model of extreme?

    • Don't think it's the same. That's ultra U1 and this one is extreme U3. Write Speeds won't be as fast right?

    • Mate what you have linked above is a UHS-1 card, whereas the one TA has posted is for a UHS-3 card. The UHS-3 card has a higher 'minimum write' speed. The U1 card is suitable for FullHD video, whereas U3 is suitable for 4K. Refer to this page for more info: https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/speed_class/. The card posted by TA is in a much higher league.

      Cheers.

  • +1

I don't get this. The original price for 90mb/s is cheaper than 60mb/s. Does this mean PC Byte mark up the price for the TA code?

  • whoops
    Thanks TA

  • +5

64GB too please for all the people who got in on the GoPro deal…

  • Thanks. Bought one as spare. Not sure what I will be using it for yet.

  • This one will be going into my LG G4

  • someone save me pls, my home is flood with SD cards, i am drowning , help!!!

    • whats the address

    • Buy loyalty - give them to your friends.

    • Can't help but ask, did you get Hornpub from Pornhub?

  • Already have enough SD cards but they're Sandisk Ultra. I doubt this U3 will be necessary for a DSLR?

    • depends on your DSLR, Ultra is lacking a bit while shooting video. And most importantly when you shoot burst mode, it takes ages to save to ultra compare you got an extreme card

    • if you have asked this question, the answer is likely no.

      no offence, and nothing personal.

  • where exactly do i put the code? tx

    edit. found it. tx

how come I keep on buying SD Cards even when I don't need them ??? I guess I need one for each and every envelop I've purchased.. which is ALOT!

    • I seem to give them away easily enough for free. Funny how many friends have no card in their phone and their phone memory is full, mainly from whatsapp rubbish. Would be nice if whatsapp would pull out their finger and let the photos/video go straight to card instead of phone. Whatsapp can give Google a few billion and I am sure it can be worked out.

  • Thanks OP, nice upgrade for my 3DS ^-^

    • no

  • Thanks TA. Thanks ozbargain. Thanks Ball boys and umpire.

  • does anybody have one of these AND one of the new sandisk ultra 80mbs cards?
    how to they compare?
the sandisk ultra 80mbs supposed to write at 50mbs — some have said it can but some have said they cant reach this speed.

    • You'd be lucky to get 20MB/s on the sandisk 80MB/s card. Where does it say they're supposed to get 50MB/s? Nobody I've seen said it even gets close.

      • check the original post from pcbyte - they show 50mbs write speeds.
a few buyers also said they got the 50mbs too.

I think one problem with these cards is after some fragmented data is written on them the speeds drop dramatically?

not sure if these extreme cards would suffer the same problem.
the only sure difference is that some gopro's and 4k recording devices are very finnicky about U3 vs U1 cards regardless of write speeds.

  • Sold out?

you're comparing extreme oranges with ultra apples

  • Damn it fell asleep and now out of stock.

Oh PC Byte do you have any more?

    • Why did the memory card fall asleep? :)

      • Dunno humour me.

        • Coz it didn't remember when it last went to sleep! BADUMTISH

(I actually read your original comment as: Damn, "it" fell asleep…")

  • How long does shipment/delivery usually take? Never dealt with pvbyte previously.

    • I ordered this card on the 18th and it was posted yesterday (22nd) and arrived today (in Brisbane) by letter post.

      • Cheers! Got mine in the mail as well!

  • Any more deals on 32gb U3 coming? I could do with another one.

  • Just realised today that my memory card hadn't been delivered so I sent PcByte an email and they said that there was a glitch in the system and that my order had not been processed. It was all sorted very quickly and I doubt it was done on purpose. Just posting this to remind others in case they may be in the same situation and may have forgotten about their order.
