$5 USD Back on Any Amazon Order over $10 USD through Givingassistant

110

Noticed this cashback deal for Amazon on givingassistant. New accounts only.

I think you may have to join via the "get savings" button on this page.

Givingassistant has actually been one of the better cashback sites - they have always paid promptly (have received 4 Paypal transactions from them so far).

  • Seems the referral program and this cannot be used together. I signed up via a referral link with my dud Gmail, and when I navigated to the Amazon page, the promotion wasn't there. Furthermore, I didn't even get the referral credit…

  • I log in and I don't see it either - but I am not a new sign up.

I'd take a screenshot of the offer. If doesn't track you would send them an email and they would fix it - as you have followed the instructions.

Amazon usually gives no cashback on computers/electronics through other sites, so if purchasing anyway nothing is lost by trying.

Where are you looking for the referral credit? My account -> referral program are where mine show. You won't get the credit to withdraw until you have earned 0.01 cashback (which is pretty generous really).

    • I don't know. My account just shows $0 for all categories.

      • Well maybe the random person you clicked on had an invalid link.

To test, I just made another account then and in current earnings there is $5. Maybe try again?

The amazon offer is hidden after logging into the new account also - but I'd just do the screenshot thing as explained above. They have been completely honourable so far.

        • Yeah, I made a random one too, and it got $5. It was just a bit weird. It doesn't seem to keep track of things that well. My "Cashback Clicks" are always blank, despite going to a few stores (and receiving the automated message that I went to a store). I think I'll wait until I have something to buy from Amazon, and jump through each of the hoops and see what happens…

  • Cashback clicks usually take a while to track - like with any cashback site. I'll prob put thru an order - these things never last as long as you want them to.

Gilt at 8% is another good one also (if you have other credit/codes). Or 6% @ backcountry.com

    • Well, since I did find something to buy, I made a proper account (not via referrer) and bought US$35 via their system. I did get a "sign-up $5" in my account already, so if I get another $5 from the Amazon purchase, then I can cash out… Hopefully it all works out! Anyway, thanks OP!

      • Come to think of it - it might actually be one or the other (maybe they want you to join with the "get savings" button for the amazon offer). I'll update the post.

Just shoot them an email if there are problems - you've tried to do the right thing (or you could cancel the amazon order and try again).

  • +1

FYI it's now $5 back for $10 spend!

EDIT: But when you click on the "join now" link, it says $20+ spend again. I think they have no idea what they're doing…

  • I see $5 for $10 too - combine with the $5 off $10 Amazon App voucher (which people don't want me to link to - but search for it on OzB) and you have $10 off $10 spend.

    • Can you link the $5 off $10 Amazon App voucher? Can't find it.

  • also, if people just want a minimum purchase to unlock $5 they have banggood - 5% on electronics
