      To my understanding, Cashrewards probably won't approve the cashback until after the 30-day money-back guarantee period is over.

    Went through with the purchase, activated by entering the pin sent to my email, but then it said to install the app on my phone, CR had a message about not leaving to the Nord app, but there was no way to continue.

    I assume that I'll still get this cashback tracked?

      Yep that should be fine, the point is to not leave the app until you've made the purchase.

      If it doesn't track within this week for whatever reason, you can contact Cashrewards / request a full refund from NordVPN.

    I don't understand these kinds of cashback deals. If these companies are ultimately copping the cashback, why not make a direct upfront discount to the consumers rather than making them jump through hoops via third party "cashback" companies, which often takes more than a month to get the cashback "if it tracks"? Heck, I would be happy with 80% or even 70% upfront discount if I don't have to deal with these third party companies.

      Maybe it lets them continue to milk many customers at full price. Often companies don’t want everyone to know their services are are available very cheaply elsewhere.

        100% this. Someone I know recently bought a 2-year plan with their 70% off deal but didn't know about cashback so they ended up paying $120+.

        I'd be surprised if anyone actually pays full price with no discount and no cashback. $415 for a basic 2-year plan is absolutely criminal.

          Yes, the + sign or using dots between the email, so [email protected] will also work as jing.a27 jing.a.2.7, j.inga.27 or any combination. They will all go to your main email account

    I've missed the past few deals of this. Can you do the cashback in an in-private/incognito window? I usually have quite a few tabs open in the regular browser which I don't want to close. I just want to make sure it works.

    So I need to login to cashrewards first and then click on the link and go from there?

      I usually do it in an incognito window, as my ad blockers usually wont track. As long as you are in the same incognito / group of tabs it should work.
      Generally the Cookies and tracking info will be purged when you close that window afterwards.

        I forgot about Adblockers, though. I'll have to make sure I turn them off. I've also got a VPN extension (different VPN that I still have a subscription to that runs out later this year), so I am hoping that doesn't stop anything. It seems the Ad Blocking is turned off, though, as I just checked in it.

          @Ice009 Hello again, just letting you know TopCashback has a slightly higher cashback at 97% cashback on NordVPN posted here. We had chatted a few times regarding NordVPN in the TCB post here and CR post here. VPN use/extension is not recommended while purchasing on cashback sites in case it doesn't track. Up to you which cashback site you use. All the best.

              To ensure tracking, it is recommended you disable both the VPN and ad-blocking extensions while shopping through the cashback sites. Also mentioned on their websites.

              It's up to you. My personal preference is TopCashback due to better customer service with the rep TA (who used to work at Cashrewards).

              We had chatted in the previous two 100% cashback offers in March and May. If you're not in a hurry, there could be 100% cashback offers later.

              @Ice009: I checked with the rep. TopCashback's NordVPN offer ends on 15th June 11:59pm AEST. It is unknown when the next 100% cashback offer will be.
