NordVPN: 100% Cashback for New NordVPN Customers @ TopCashback AU

NordVPN: 100% Cashback for New NordVPN Customers

My Tips:

  • 100% cashback is for the Basic plan (VPN service only, no add-ons) which costs A$118.53 (estimate) for 2 yrs + 3 extra months. NordVPN charges in USD.
  • Please choose a country with no GST e.g. Christmas Island.
  • If you can, pay with a card without international transaction fees. PayPal may charge a currency conversion fee. These fees are not eligible for cashback.
  • If your order doesn't track or you're not happy with NordVPN, please cancel and request for a refund from NordVPN within 30 days under their 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • You can cancel auto-renewal after you have received cashback.

TA's Tips:

  • A new customer is defined by NordVPN, and nothing to do with your TopCashbackAU account. Simply use a new email address at their end, the same TopCashbackAU account as always, and you're good to go.
  • Click/tap through TopCashbackAU, don't click/tap away to other sites looking for codes, don't use any 3rd party plugins, and avoid browsers such as Brave. Best to use the TopCashbackAU mobile app on 4G/5G as this eliminates potential issues with WiFi/router firewalls etc. Tracking for NordVPN is not instantaneous and may take a few hours.
  • All plans (discounted or not, excluding upsold products) are eligible for the increased cashback (2-year, 1-year, monthly). Remove up-sold products such as NordPass & NordLocker as they are ineligible for cashback. So unless you really need or want the extras, best option (IMHO) is to choose one of the Basic plans and not Plus or Complete.
  • A tip from comments in previous posts is to select a country with no GST to save further at checkout as GST is ineligible for cashback. Pay with a card that does not charge overseas transaction fees.
  • And finally remember you have the safety net of NordVPN's 30-day money back guarantee. Should tracking fail or if you’re not happy with the product, I strongly suggest cancelling rather than submitting a claim as you're then in the hands of NordVPN's analytics for attribution.

What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback can only be earned by customers opening a new NordVPN account. Renewals are ineligible for cashback.
  • Cashback is eligible on the VPN service only. Upsold products like NordPass & NordLocker are ineligible for cashback.
  • NordVPN is excluded from all signup and referral bonus thresholds. Reference the Tell-a-Friend terms for more information.
  • Cashback is ineligible on payments made with Crypto currency.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • NordVPN trades in US dollars meaning the purchase amount and the cashback amount tracked may vary due to conversion rates.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.
  • To be eligible for cashback, all transactions must be completed solely & wholly online and must not be assisted/negotiated via phone/chat/email. Failure to do so will cause tracking to fail and/or have cashback declined.

  • I got something like 90% cash back with them. IMHO express VPN is slightly better but for the price (factoring in offers like these) Nord is truly unbeatable.

Cashback doesn’t include GST, if you pay with Christmas Island as your country (no GST) you get 100% usually

Some even report it calculating as more than 100% for some odd reason, bonus.

PureVPN beats it on letancy, especially internationally, as they mostly use GSL here. Speeds NordVPN wins over anything, easily maxes a 1Gbps connection without issues

      • I never knew of this Christmas Island loophole!

      • Does this work for aliexpress to escape the Harvey Norman GST?

    • How long does it take to change from pending to confirmed?

  • I used to have a nord account 2 years ago, but didn’t renew the subscription. Does anyone know if I sign up using the same email now, would I be considered as a new sign up or not?
    Thanks

    • +4

Use a new email if you want to be treated as a new customer

    • +2

Put a dot in your email
      [email protected]

      • Daymn… this is new to me. I only know the trick where you do [email protected], [email protected], etc.

        • Only really works with gmail afaik

          • @ViperAMD: Could be the case, I use it with Gmail; haven't tried with anything else.

These days I just make new aliases in O365 developer instead so it looks more legitimate (until they cut me off, but they haven't yet. If they do I'm pretty sure a single O365 business license still allows unlimited aliases)

        • +2

the + filters it into a particular label in gmail, but most of the time websites block the + as a valid email. The "." dot counts as a new email without issues for signup, but comes back into the same email address.

          • @deadhurricane: Didn't know about this. So if I want to buy with my current email address. I can just put a "." in it and I'll still get the emails to my current email address?

Even if I don't buy with my current email address, just curious, when putting a "." there, does that affect anything on the gmail side?

        • +1

can also use [email protected] instead of @gmail.com for another extra email address if they’ve blocked using the “+”

  • How is NordVPN downloading speed when watch 4k videos on Youtube US?

    • +1

Their peering is pretty decent, I get like 300Mbps to Amsterdam servers. To US should be even better, easily enough for 4K

    • +1

Yeap no issues so far, with them 4-5 years

  • +2

    $113.29/$118.53 tracked

    • winning

      • Was expecting full 100% considering no GST but happy enough with that.

Couldn’t see how to pay in USD with no fee card, that may make a difference

        • My guess is Nord's conversion rate since they're displaying the USD converted price in AUD and so they've probably added their own margin in.

  • +2

I'm still on my Nord 2 yr + 3 mth plan from 2023 due to end Dec 2025.
Thanks OP! I'll be signing up again with this deal under a new email addy 😎

    • Exactly my situation. Worth forfeiting the rest of the year to reup

      • but these 90-100% get posted every few weeks, why wouldn't you wait until dec? my last one was 120% back

        • Haha good point, here's hoping theres more in the last qtr

  • +1

How longs it taking to get the cashback atm?

  • -4

Just be mindful if another household member buys it, they will ban your TCB account but only when you go to withdraw the funds.

They also don’t allow you to login to open a support ticket and emails to them go unanswered. So they just pocket the cashback from the retailer and don’t give you an option to provide any evidence

    • +1

The post literally says you can buy it on a new NordVPN account, is this not correct?

Has this situation actually happened to you?

      • +2

Dug through their voting history and was for PureVPN

I suspect the “multiple accounts” problem isn’t for the merchant itself but rather having multiple TCB accounts which is clearly against in their T&C

        • -1

Yes sorry I should have clarified TCB accounts, have contacted TCB atleast 2 times and they have yet to be in contact. They just kept all the cashback and closed the account

          • +1

@Brick50: Trixie has suggested to you that you should reach out to @tightarse but not sure if you have

            • +1

              @BargainsGrabber: @Brick50 Thank you BG.

On 24/04/25, I replied to you regarding multiple TCB accounts which is against their T&Cs. I also suggested you contact the rep tightarse. Did you contact tightarse?

              Sorry to hear.

              TopCashback T&Cs:

4.1 One account is allowed per person. This is subject at all times to fair usage and one person should not be used to make purchases on behalf of many other people

As you can't log in, please message the rep tightarse here.

              • @trixieb: I will if needed however I was expecting a response from their official channels. Do we think it is OK if a cashback company can just keep all your funds when you try to withdraw, and not reply to any attempt at contact unless we contact a rep on a bargain forum? I would hope a legitimate company would actually reply to emails/tickets that are created with them.

    • +1

I agree, TCB was just a pain for me too, none of the cashbacks got registered, support non existent. Never had any issues with other cashback providers

      • I was going to get this, but I think I'll wait until Cashrewards or someone I've used before has another offer. I've never used TCB, but they don't sound too good. I wasn't able to purchase the past two on Cashrewards as stuff came up and missed out on it. I know for sure Cashrewards do reply as I've had to contact them a couple of times and they've always replied.

        • +1

@Ice009 Good for you and hope you continue to get the same level of service moving forward at Cashrewards. Unfortunately some of us haven't had the best experience at Cashrewards recently.

I posted the last NordVPN 100% cashback offer at Cashrewards in April. There were 3 negative votes from members who had issues with Cashrewards and cashback rejections including NordVPN.

I remember you from another NordVPN Cashrewards offer in March that I posted. You asked several questions. My answers would apply to TopCashback too.

I posted 2 other Cashrewards offers recently: Vodafone $5 cashback a few days ago and Private Internet Access 100% cashback in Feb. Both offers had issues. I contacted Cashrewards but haven't heard back and still waiting. A member negged the Vodafone offer as Cashrewards rejected their Vodafone cashback from a previous similar offer.

In my Vodafone post, I commented here that I may not post any more Cashrewards offers as they are unreliable. I've experienced better service from ShopBack recently compared with Cashrewards. I find TopCashback to have the best service with the rep tightarse there (who used to work at Cashrewards).

There was a delay in Cashrewards members receiving the $3 Bonus Cashback on $50 7-Eleven Gift Card even after contacting Cashrewards. There was also a delay in the $3 Bonus Cashback on $50 Chemist Warehouse Gift Card. Cashrewards had to be contacted twice to receive the $3 bonus. In the past, the bonus had tracked immediately.

I was lucky to finally receive cashback from Cashrewards in Feb this year that was overdue from a purchase in July last year. This is probably my longest wait for cashback. I had to email several times to get the cashback.

Just wanted to share that some of us are not having a positive experience with Cashrewards and their customer service seems to have gone downhill recently.

          All the best.

          • @trixieb: Thanks a lot for the reply. It was probably a year ago or a bit longer that I contacted them, so it wasn't recent. So I guess I shouldn't just dismiss TCB then. I'll have another look at signing up with TCB over the weekend if I have time (I work both days).

Edit : Just saw the deal ends tomorrow, probably won't have time as I'll be working until 12:00am (I'm in WA). I assume the finish time of the deal is AU Eastern time?

            • @Ice009: Deal finishes at 11:59pm AEST tomorrow or 9:59pm WA time. I'm in Perth too.

Please note that NordVPN purchase is excluded from referral bonuses when you sign up to TCB.

Hope you can sign up. TCB will probably have this offer again anyway.

  • Would it work—meaning the cashback would be valid—if I’m an existing customer but sign up using the same email address with an added '+xxx' at the end? For example, [email protected]. Thanks!

    • +1

I’ve used a . in my email and it worked on prior deals

      • If using the dot method, can you add the dot in different places and keep using the same email address? I only asked as you've said you used it in prior deals?

For example, can you go Ice.009, then next time I.ce009 and keep using it like that, or can you only use the dot method once?

  • Does anyone know after cash back how soo can you cancel the account? When U cancel do U still have access till end of duration?

    • +1

Cancel the auto-renewal, but keep the account for the 2 years 3 months

  • +2

Just followed the instructions exactly $113.33/$118.53 tracked.

  • +1

$113.33/$118.53 tracked with no foreign fee card and no GST. guess Nordvpn use slightly expensive convert rate, but its fantastic with 5 aud for 2 years.

    • Guess my card is no foreign fee as well then

  • Can I sign up for the Basic to get the cashback, and then upgrade to Premium?

  • I followed the recommendation: "Best to use the TopCashbackAU mobile app on 4G/5G as this eliminates potential issues with WiFi/router firewalls etc.",
but then further below it says "Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app."
So whats the go here? Anyone use the mobile app to complete the transaction? I've just completed it all on the mobile.

    • +1

Use the TopCashBack app to click through (which opens the NordVPN webpage on your phone's web browser). The above note is to not buy through the NordVPN app.

  • I am previous NordVPN user and have to tell you this thing is far worse than express and pure VPN if you want to use Eastern Asian spots.

I got my free pure VPN already so will skip it.

    • weird, I have the exact oppiste experience, used to use PureVPN years ago and it was absolute crap then switched to NordVPN which generally gave me far better and more stable connection, and never looked back. Maybe it got better recently, but when I used to be a customer it was so bad and slow I barely used it

    • +1

Yes I joined PureVPN a few weeks ago with the >100% cashback offer, and found it much faster on my Telstra HFC 1gb NBN. Nord not slow though, in fact you should be able to hit 80-95% of your max speed, but Pure is faster in my tests. Both download >800mbit, but Pure maxes out simultaneos downloads better than Nord, which I find slows down often with large file downloads. I also get less VPN detected issues with PureVPN than Nord but most VPNs I have used struggle with google (so use split tunneling or change search provider). Yes your experience will differ a lot depending on what you use, your system, your router etc, this is just my experience. Either way, free is free… :)

      • I don't suppose you use PureVPN for any geo-restricted streaming, do you? If so, how do you find it compared to NordVPN in that case?

  • +1

Thanks OP for your advise on auto renewal. Had the NordVPN subscription from the previous deals and forgot to cancel the auto renewal 😃

  • Does Nord have an option to turn off auto-renew or, allow you to 'cancel' the subscription then the current subscription continues for 2 years +?

    • Yes.

  • Any other VPN deals with 90-100% CB?

  • How long goes it usually take to get the TopCashback confirmation? I’ve made a few purchases within the last 4-5 business days that are still yet to show. Some have, some haven’t.

  • FYI, dont use amex card to make the purchase, i tried the plus got charge $153, but top4cashback only track $128

    • Your Amex card is fine. The discrepancy is due to the Plus plan with the add-ons.

As mentioned in the post description, 100% cashback is for the Basic plan (VPN service only, no add-ons). It costs A$118.53 (estimate) for 2 yrs + 3 extra months. You don't get 100% cashback for the Plus plan.

      • Not sure how he got $128 even, I got tracked for $113.29/$118.53

      • nah, it's just because Amex currency or maybe convertion fee is too high, my friend use normal bank debit card he gets the same for plus too

  • "Please choose a country with no GST e.g. Christmas Island."

How do you do this? while subscribing to Nord? do I need another VPN for this?

    • +1

Click to NordVPN website via TopCashback website or TopCashback app:

      • Click on the Basic plan "Get Basic" on the left hand side
      • This will take you to the "Order summary" page (Basic 2-year plan + 3 EXTRA months)
      • On the right hand side, under "Tax country:" default is Australia GST 10%
      • Click Australia or dropdown menu
      • Choose Christmas Island
      • VAT 0%
      • Total A$118.53
  • +1

    Cheers!
    $114.09/118.53
Using Wise card and Christmas island for 0% GST.

    • My payment was reverted the next day for some reason and Nord sent out a notification saying the plan expires in 4 days.
      Paid with Revolut.

Couldn't find any information but I assume I won't get cashback if I just set up the payment again so I just closed the account.

      Will try another account again.

  • +1

For those who use VPN for torrenting purpose, NordVPN does not support port forwarding.

    • What do you recommend?

      • +1

I use PIA for more than 3 years now. (100% cashback offer, 3 years plan) Not bad. There's a docker with qbittorrent + VPN, PIA pre-configered. All you need to do is to fill in your username and pass, very handy for me.

I have only 39 days left. I can see there's 70% cashback offer, you can choose 2 year plan. Not bad.

        • Are you saying in Qbittorrent there is an option to add a VPN? Can you use any VPN? Do you have to configure anything else on either the VPN side or Qbittorrent. I haven't used Bittorrent for years so I haven't kept up with any current changes.

    • For a newbie, why is this important?

      • +2

If no port forwarding the torrent download will be slow. Specially when a seed is not very popular.

        • Thanks

        • Thanks. I was wondering about this myself. I've been thinking of trying BT again.

  • I used TCB to buy NORDVPN basic 1 year plan, but can see no record from the TCB website.
How can I know that I will get the cash back?

    Many thanks!

    • +3

If your NordVPN purchase tracked, the transaction details will be in your Earnings page here. You would also receive an email that it has tracked.

If your purchase hasn't tracked after a day (i.e. no record of transaction), the recommendation is to cancel and request for a refund from NordVPN within 30 days under their 30-day money-back guarantee.

If you cancel, you can sign up again with NordVPN using a different email address to be considered a new customer for cashback. You can use the same TopCashback account.

Here are some tracking tips from the rep TA:

      • +1

        Very detailed answer! Thank you!

      • +1

As OrangeTabee already mentioned, thanks for the awesomely detailed answer.

  • +1

Thanks just 113/118. All pretty easy and the speed I’m getting on Nord is way better than I was getting for European servers on express

  • +1

Thanks. Paid $118.53 and TopCashback paying $113.51.

  • TopCash says 113.60 pending and Estimated Payable in 16 Weeks. Is any one else's tracking also says 16 weeks too ? Or has anyone received the payment already from TopCash? Please advise.

    • Mine still says pending and 16 weeks.
