Possible to get 16GB of ram for ~AU$91 shipped if you buy a qty of 2.

Today's amazon ram deal. This dropped USD $10 today, now the lowest price ever according to camelx3. Works out to be $35.32 (~AUD $49) shipped, even cheaper if you buy more than 1. Enjoy :)

Cheaper than local stock by at least $30 when you factor in shipping

  • I see as per the description, if have 4 DIMM slots available on the motherboard that would be $94.62 AUD delivered (according to Amazon currency converter but would be less if you let the credit card company do the currency conversion instead) for 16GB worth of RAM if you put a quantity of 2 in the cart to make 4 x 4GB sticks (2 lots of this RAM kits). Nice that's cheap amazing price.

  • I think 1600 is a fairly pedestrian speed these days.

    • I doubt that you will find any real life performance difference between 1600 and 2400mhz when it comes to DDR3 ram. Maybe higher in synthetic benchmarks but be barely noticable at all in real life use scenarios. And this is CL9 ram. Remember when it comes to DDR3 the higher the mhz the higher the latency becomes also. Most DDR3 2400mhz ram is CL11 latency. So you're actually losing out with higher latency if you go higher than 1600mhz.
