    • VOIP vs Mobile

      • Yeah business SIP and mobile is completely difference thing.

      • Good point…

Go see what MyNetFone has to offer.
Last time I checked, we pay:

        • $0.10 for up to 2 hours (to normal a landline) &
        • $0.15 per min (or is it 30 Sec) to any Aussie carrier's mobile

        [possibly, as a WhirlPool deal].

Firstly, read between the lines. Caveat emptor, I haven't read the T&C so I don't know where the limit of "unlimited" ends particularly for mobile. Maybe it's "unlimited" calls to mobile if you call to an iiNet or Internode mobile plan? Or if you're not calling either iiNet or Internode mobile plan than a limit, for example, of $400 calls per month? Or maybe free mobile calls to 10 nomimated mobile phone numbers?

If I am wrong (which I could be, in this case) then $25/month for unlimited calls to mobile is cheap.

    • I use iinet business landline with unlimited calls to mobile and landlines - and I'm a heavy user. I've asked iinet if they're happy with heavy usage - and they're cool with it. As long as the system isn't abused, such as having the system linked to a PBX and having multiple users simultaneously. I can imagine that it will be the same for VoIP.

So you could be bothered to write a post, but not take less time just to read the T&C's?

As all 'unlimited' plans on anything in this country, acceptable use policy applies. Will this impact you? Probably not, not unless you're calling mobiles all day every day.

It doesn't say anything about only being to iiNet or Internode mobile numbers, it's to all standard mobile numbers in Australia.

They also state that it's not available for telemarketing, call centre functions and similar uses.

      Go have a read yourself - http://www.iinet.net.au/about/legal/cis/cis-biz-bizphone.pdf

    • Since even a cheap ($18 / mon retail) mobile plan includes all-you-can-eat calls to Aussie mobiles, I'd say it can't be -too- hard for a VoIP co. to offer same, in a $30 / mon plan.

  • I just called them up as I already have Yealink phones. I have to buy their equipment or use the desktop app. No sale.

    • They include the first handset as a rental in this deal, and allow you to purchase others outright. Surely you could use your existing handset as well?

      • Unless the sales rep doesn't know what I'm talking about, is there a iiNet/TPG rep here?

    • You couldn't tell us Eqt cost(s)..? :-/
