Page not found? Tried searching seperately and not coming up… Maybe removed…?

The Logitech G710 for $64 is a damn good price for cherry brown switches and sound damp rings~ http://www.harveynorman.com.au/logitech-g710-mechanical-gami…

    • Is this any good for non-gaming work?

      • I love typing on mine.

        • Second this Scotty ^^

Whilst I use mine a lot for gaming, it is a great non-gaming keyboard also. Fantastic for typing etc.

If you search reviews about this product, however, you will see that some people have issues with the keys (they allegedly fall off after a certain period). Had mine for a year and a half - no issues with this.

        • +1

@Rocket6: Took about 18 months for my first key to come off. Your key caps will be all broken. If you pull one off, hold it to a light and you will see hairline fractures.

It is a design fault. Logitech will offer to replace it with another G710+ which they will admit is going to have the same problem. If you push it, they will give you a G910 as replacement. They keep making it hard though, and you are now required to cut the USB cable at the back of the keyboard, take a photo of the cut cable with their ref number handwritten on paper. This means some users will then be without a keyboard for a week. Anyway, they used to just send new ones, but now don't want you to end up with a broken keyboard that is usable. Silly thing is that firing up a soldering iron will still get it working.

Logitech also have no spare parts for any product sold up until last year. This is a pretty blatant non fulfilled of their obligations, which again they will admit, but it is simply how they operate. They have assured me there will a "few" products released that are actually going to have spare parts(but they couldnt name the products). Around a year ago Logitech in the USA actually started sending new key caps for the G710+ to customers, where in the past they were sending whole keyboards.

Anyway, at the moment I have a Harmony remote that needs a new key membrame, and a MX510 requiring a stick on foot. Again going through the process of requesting a spare part, being told they don't have any, getting them to acknowledge their breach of Australian law, and they have promised to sort it.

        • @Major Mess: If you dont mind non-originals, you can buy replacement feet here http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601…

        • @nairdajun: Thanks, but as mentioned Logitech will be replacing the mouse, as they cannot meet their obligation under the original sale.

        • @Major Mess: isnt it out of warranty already? what other obligations do they have?

        • +1

@nairdajun: To meet their Statutory obligation and supply spare parts for a reasonable period of time.

        • @Major Mess: Thanks for this mate, it prompted me to chase Logitech for a warranty replacement. The G710+ is a POS, my keys started falling off within months of purchase and now I have 8 keys broken after less than 2 years. VERY light usage, and funnily enough the keys I use mostly (gaming keys like q w e r) are fine, but the keys like Esc, G1, F1 and Ctrl that I use rarely broke so easily. Just got to find that receipt now somehow!

        • @Major Mess: Think ee are stalking each other. Have a look at your post history. We literally came across each other on a recent post and had the exact same discussion :P. You'll be happy to know that I did some research and am not sending slight warnings to those thinking of purchasing (as above). :-)

        • @Major Mess: Bought one today - didn't get it for $64, but paid $90 as I figured it was still pretty cheap. However, 1 key was already broken out of the box - same failure that so many people have been complaining to Logitech about for years now so it's clearly a design fault.

Also found the keys super cramped so I had heaps of mistypes compared to my other keyboards but I'm sure that would get better with practice.

Either way, I'll taking it back and maybe consider investing in the Corsair K70 instead.

        • @Darkscythe: Harvey Norman have been aware of the issue since the start of 2015, so should be no prob for a refund. Or you could waste a couple of hours and go through Logitech, getting them to replace it with a different model that is "suitable for the purpose for which it was sold", and "of merchantable quality".

        • @Major Mess: Thanks! Yeah, rather get a refund and invest in something without known issues. I'd (perhaps foolishly) thought it'd be fixed after all this time.

    • Can't add this to cart for some reason, anyone else having problems?

    • Yeah, Ive picked one up for work. Quite a good price, particularly if it compares to a Ducky.

    • link not working now?

      • All the links are down. Check your local HN store

    • Just bought one for $64 at Auburn. 2 left.

  • +2

Damn, for an rgb mechanical, that's almost in the mindless purchase territory. Must resist..

    • +1

To help you resist - it looks hideous.

      • +2

lol yeah. Seems the G810 is $119. That settles it. Purchased!

      • I really like the look of mine. Pretty subjective.

        More so than my 710+.

It is annoying that there are some buttons you can't change the color of though.

  • That's cheaper that the recent Ebay daily deals. Pretty good price for a RGB keyboard.

Have asked the seller if they can match at least.

  • I want a mechanical keyboard but i think playing game late at night my wife will kill me !#@!

    • Romer-G's are quiet so you'll be fine ;)

      • Whoops! wrong comment…

    • +2

She might enjoy the sound. If not your only option is to leave her.

  • +3

The (new) Logitech G810 is also on sale for $119, that's $100 less than the RRP $219 everywhere else… http://www.harveynorman.com.au/computers-tablets/computer-ac…

  • +1

Logitech Orion Spectrum G810 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard $119 which one should I pick ? Too many choices :)

  • Been looking at the Logitech G510s, and I don't think i've seen it as low as $67.
    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/computers-tablets/computer-ac…
I don't need mechanical switches, so all the programmable will be quite handy. Info screen seems interesting too, but maybe a bit niche.

  • +3

Logitech Orion Spectrum G810 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard will be a good bargain too.

    http://www.harveynorman.com.au/computers-tablets/computer-ac…

    • Yeh I'm tossing between this and the Orion Spark or even G710 hmmm. I think I will go with this.

      • +1

        No stock everywhere. Lol.

  • Does anyone know if those Logitech G keyboards will be include Tom Clancy's The Division game code?

    • +4

the G810 comes with it in the box

      • can you confirm that? I just received mine from Mwave this morning and the code was in a separate envelope outside the box.

        • +2

Messaged logitech's facebook page. Will update you once I know

        • According to the online support team of HN:
"Product eligibility may vary according to participating regions. Sorry we do not have that promo"

        • A copy of The Division is not included when you buy a G810 in Australia. The promotion you're asking about is not running in Australia.

          Cheers, Logitech G.

        • Got my g810 delivered from this $119 promo at Harvey Norman, and can confirm that a redemption code for The Division was definitely included.

The code sheet has Harvey Norman branding on it. The outside of the box has no mention of The Division or a free game.

does this suggest you should follow this process or that HN is not a participating retailer?

      • Seems that's for the US. Hoping that logitech will honour the promo for any G810. Not sure why Mwave would be the only retailer.

      • +2

Logitech doesn't officially bundle The Division with new keyboards in Australia, hence why we're not listed on the official Logitech promo website (https://www.logitechgpromo.com/gpromo/). Hence why the majority of retailers here (MSY, CPL, etc) aren't participating in the offer.

Mwave and Shopping Express DO provide a PC copy of The Division with G810s but they're charging full whack ($219) for it. I'm not sure how they're managing to bundle The Division while most others aren't able to make the same offer.

You can still try and lodge a support ticket on the Logitech site, you've got nothing to lose for a potentially free game. I suspect though they'll just point you towards the promo page and state that Australia isn't a participating country.

  • Thanks - that's the cheapest ever for the wheel. Now I just need one of the stores to do a big discount on the PS4

  • Finally G920 is on sale. Picking one up this arvo. Thanks OP!!!!

    • No shifter sucks though. Sticking with my G27

  • I have been tempted with the G810 to go with my G502 Proteus Spectrum RGB - at that price it's rude not to! Thanks OP.

  • Im so tempted to buy the G710+ for Cherry brown, but I stupidly just paid $54 for a membrane G105 a few Weeks ago fml….

    • I have the 710+ at work for typing and love it.

It was a gaming keyboard at home first. Found the keys required too much force while gaming and my fingers got tired quickly. Replaced it with the G910 and don't suffer this issue.

  • +1

Link to G910 isn't working. Maybe sold out?

    • +2

I managed to purchase one before the link stopped working. I'll let you know if it was a pricing error or if they just ran out of stock.

      • I think pricing error, they removed the 2 steering wheels also.

        • +1

G810 is still working for me. Probably not for long though

        • +1

@mvanree: Well I bought it, and it's on it's way to being delivered so that's a plus.

  • g910 or g810?

    • +1

Both RGB, Romer-G switch, plastic, etc.
G910 has wrist rest; but shitty curved keycaps, can replace with normal keycaps with additional cost through logitech website; fancy looking with stupid phone dock…
G810 has no wrist rest; normal keycaps.

  • I can't add the G710+ to the cart, but I can for the G810. Anyone else getting the same?

    • Maybe out of stock already.

    • Probably out of stock, happened to me as well and I dropped in at the QV (Melbourne CBD) store to pick up one they held for me.

The only other unit they had in store was already paid for and held for a customer as well.

  • +1

Just my feedback, the G910 keycaps are shapped a bit odd and i didn't find them comfortable to use so just know that when going in.

The G710+ switches that hold they keycap on are very fragile, with out any force i had 4 keys break on me with in a month and returned through COTD.
G710+ would of been my fav keyboard if it weren't poorly made, but just my feedback i'd thought i'd share.

  • From Harvey Norman staff: "Sorry but that's a cached page, that item has been removed". Damn

    • G810 Seems to still be working. With the possibility of a copy of The Division

  • Was looking at the 2 wheels 10 minutes ago, refreshed the tabs and they both 404. Looks like the site might be having some issues or they weren't supposed to include the wheels in the sale… Should not have hesitated :(

  • +4

Thanks, bought G810 at $100 cheaper than rivals. Its only just out too.

  • Just called Bondi Junction store and they are indeed available at that price. Website is just stuffed.

  • Got an 810…trying to buy the 510s as well and site errors. Did give me the option to buy even it was out of stock. Hope it comes back on.

  • G402 mouse was $30 and that's also been removed. Just before I checked out. :(

    • +1

Just called my local store and they have stock at $30 each.

      • Might pop in on the way home shortly.

        • Nothing listed in this thread or the mouse I found was even in stock at Marion SA.

  • +1

Site errors, are these prices in-store too or just online?
I took a screen shot of the price, and before the page went down it said the keyboard I want was in stock at a store I can get to, so wondering about going there in lunch break and seeing if I can get one

    • +1

Give your local store a call.
I called mine and they have the G402 for $30.
Which is what it was on the website before it was removed.

      • Same for me, went in to store and got G29 for $223

  • Hopefully not a price error like recent Go Pro deal.

  • I had the problem on the site too trying to get a G29 wheel, so went in to the store around the corner to check it out.
There weren't any stickers or promo signs on it, but I asked the woman on the checkout and it scanned at the sale price ($223), so can go buy from a store if the website isn't working.

  • I hope the Site errors get fixed soon. I really want to get the G29 wheel. I'll probably go to my local HN if it isn't fixed anytime soon…

  • G710+ at my local is $148.

  • +2

Yeah I just bought a G920 from HN Coburg. Scanned at $223. Sweet.

  • +2

Very good price for the 810 but Harvey Norman confirmed online that the keyboard DOES NOT include the key for THE DIVISION.

  • +1

Just picked a G920 from Cairns. One left in stock. Price was $499 on the ticket but it scanned at $223.

There were about 3 or 4 G29 Wheels for those with a PS3/PS4

  • Page Not Found

  • Looks like most of the pages are missing/down.

So might have to go in store.

  • Got one from HN Nunawading for $223

  • +1

Called by local about the G920 - confirmed at $223 and they put one aside for me

Thanks OP - bank account taking a beating today…

    • grabbed the wheel, the 910 keyboard and a $38 hard mouse mat for $13 - great deals!

  • -6

You can grab the G920 from Wireless1 for $178.00 with free shipping.

    https://www.wireless1.com.au/logitech-g910-orion-spark-rgb-m…

    • so much wrong with that comment…

G920 is the wheel - you linked the G910 keyboard

the 910 is $178 at W1 - $115 linked here (if you can get it)

    • That's G910 keyboard, G920 is racing wheel.

      • Can confirm this - i cant send email very well with my G920, which at $220 is a freakin bargain

    • Yes. I meant the G910.

  • +1

G810 page has been taken down. I resisted it~

  • Do you guys think it's worth buying a G29 for ~$220 or should I just get a second hand wheel like the Driving Force GT for $50? Looking to play some games like Dirt Rally/

    • +1

Go the G29 over the Driving Force GT. It's much better. It'll be worth the additional cost. Btw, buy Project Cars while you're at it.

      • Do yourself a favour and buy Assetto Corsa over Project Cars

        • Thought that game was still in Beta? I'll check it out

        • Forza 6 is pretty sweet too
