    Price in title please.

Also, I don't understand why you can't offer this deal in store (perhaps "mention this post" etc to obtain discount), much more convenient for those of us who live in the area, and instant gratification…

    • +8

      Price included-

Because it is a online deal only Sir Casm. The Cafe is separate from Geronimo Jerky with different staff over a 7 day period- it saves confusion and on such a tight deal like this is saves money.

        • We had 25 pickup orders today from our store. They ordered online & most paid via paypal. Some chose to pay on collection. We contacted them via phone or email. We have 20 more pickup orders, that are collecting next week. We have limited display stock in the cafe & our Jerky Staff work Monday to Friday. Pre ordering means that your order is packed & ready for you to collect at the time agreed.

    • We have wonderful customers that live all over Australia. We try to look after all of our customers. Our local & loyal customers receive discounts in store(market days & promo specials) that our other customers miss out on. So we have online only offers to share the discount specials Australia Wide. To avoid disappointment & ensure that you can get what you want, it's best to contact us & preorder.

I'm getting "Parcel Post Medium (3Kg) Satchel Standard Service: $13.40" for 10 x 40g bags, and not $8.25 as per description…

    • +1

give me two minutes and it will be fixed

      • Took you 8 minutes :P

        • +1

I was on coconut time :)

    • +3

      fixed

      • Awesome, thanks. Order placed.

      • I'm still getting $13.40?

      • Not fixed

    are they Halal?

  • Have had before, absolutely delicious! Buckshot was my favorite. Thanks for another deal bruzzy.

  • +1

Thanks mate. Never tried it, so ordered a bunch of everything. :)

  • +2

I've got to say, as interested as I was to try some… that postage is too high. $9 for three bags, $8.25 for the postage, basically doubling the price… removes any impulse purchaseness from it.

    • +1

blame aus post for that one.as you stated, it makes it hard for any Australian online seller to get impulse buyers on small or low cost items.

  • Ordered 500g bag full as before. Very tasty and lasts some time. Cheers

  • tried it from last deal, and by far my favorite is pow wow, which my daughters enjoyed as well.

  • just bought 20 x 40g bags

    Good stuff.

Like all the flavours but prefer Original and Pow Wow unless I want something a little different.

  • Thanks for posting. Just ordered 10 packs. I've only ever tried the stuff you get in the supermarkets so I'm looking forward to checking out a range of your jerky.
Also a big plus for not having to create an account on your site to order. Simply enter my email, postal address and PayPal details. Too easy.

    • +2

It's different from your usual Jack Links and Nobbys.

Nobbys tastes like packaged salami and Jack Links make it seem like lolly steak.

Geronimo is much drier - as I think jerky should be

  • Thanks. Just ordered 10, looking forward to seeing the difference between this and local stuff.

  • +2

Normal price is $150 per kg.
    Wow, that is expensive!!

    • Yeah if you buy the 40g bags.

You can buy a 1kg bag for $100.

      • -2

Still too pricey for me to contemplate (:

IMHO about $50 per kg is a reasonable price. More than that is for the rich.

        • +2

It's not if you understand how it's made.

        • +1

          @Mic Cullen:
          It is not complicated.
          Marinate, then dry.

          I've made it at home.

        • +8

@check: The home stuff is really cheap to make I understand that as I have been making it for over 35yrs but some things are different……..

We use 3kg premium beef grass fed with less marbling to avoid fat to produce 1kg of Geronimo Jerky beef prices have doubled in the last 4 yrs.
We have over 10 staff to pay to keep up with demand
Our product is food safe accredited to the highest level
          Packaging costs
          Rent
          Electricity
          Maintenance
          And so on …………

I do agree it is easy to make at home but you have to put a price on product that is manufactured …. like beer as an example. I am sure a lot of us have made beer at home but I much prefer to but mine in a carton thesis days :-)

        • +1

@check: If NOTHING else, you understand that the drying gets rid of a LOT of weight, right?

          deadset

  • Do you deliver to Australia post parcel collect addresses?

    • I will look into it for you Victinini

    • +1

We use Australia Post & send lots of orders to parcel lockers. I don't think this is an issue.

  • -1

    can these be picked up?

    • As per description.
If you are picking up please be aware we will contact you when your order is ready to collect. During sales all stock is allocated and cooked fresh so you can’t just come in and collect without our notification.

  • Bought some. Cheers man :)

  • Why are there soy beans in the ingredients list?

And can I get express post? (They have a 3kg express post bag)

If I can't get express post it will take at least three months by ship instead of around 10-14 days by plane!!

    • Just send an email to [email protected] If your willing to pay the extra for an express post, they will try & make it happen.

  • +1

Still enjoying the last batch :) Thanks GeronimoJerky

  • Are these able to be sent overseas? I want to send them over to a friend in the states but I heard something about them not allowing meat products.

    • +1

Yeah do that now. If you do too late at the end of this year, the beef will need to go through a wall built by Mr Trump the president.

      • Even then it should be ok, so long as there's no taco flavour…

    • I would contact Aus post-There is a declaration form you fill out and as long as thats done correct I dont see a problem-I have sent it to my dad and my brother without issue….BUT check it out with them to be usre :)

  • Great deal..Been waiting for a sale..So placed an order for 10 bags..Will be great for work snacks.

  • Dear Geronimo jerky rep,

I forgot to put the discount code EASTER and ended up paying $68,25 for 10 packs 40g (Order #7501), is it possible to modify my order to double my purchase or give me credit for purchase next time?

    Regards,

    • +1

Did my team get back to you?

  • Dear Geronimo Rep,

What's the expiry date like (Planning to hand carry to a friend in Asia in 3mths).

    Thanks.

    • 6 month shelf life:)

  • +8

Ordered 2 of every 40g bag all good BUT.

Web site is doggedly slow AND I'd like a faster way to add the products please. Clicking down into each product to add it to the cart on a slow web site is murder coming back then selecting another product, then adding to cart, rinse and repeat.

Why not have all your products on one page with a QTY and simply let us enter the QTY and one big "Add to Cart" button at the bottom (and top)? Much quicker right?

Just some feedback on the UX - nothing personal.

    • +3

      Good advice IMHO.

    • +2

Perfect-this is what i was talking to the designers about before the special started.

So painful going back and forth constantly.

I appreciate everyone's patience and will get it fixed and more user friendly real soon :)

    • Nice one, was also thinking something like this would be handy. Though my thought was perhaps some packs containing different flavours, particularly with the 40g size - 1 click for all 8 flavours would be good.

Spewing I missed out on the 50% off code this time…

  • Always wanted to try Geronimo, thanks for the opportunity!

  • Hi, do you have a tracking number for Order #7251?

Been over 3 weeks and nothing! Thanks

    • +1

Looks like a tracking number was sent to a gmail account when it was sent on the 19th of Feb. had a failed delivery and is awaiting collection at "Awaiting Collection at DARWIN GPO DELIVERY ANNEXE"

I will send the tracking number to that gmail account-Just check spam folder as "jerky" might get blocked..lol

  • +1

When do these get shipped? Ordered the day this deal showed up and haven't heard anything.

    • Hello Naedtrax,

      Hello Naedtrax,
We have stated the following on the deal so no one is disappointed. We have simply stated this so people know it will take a little time. Our jerky is packed fresh to order and these deals go crazy with over 500+ orders to fill.

Once payment is cleared we try to send your jerky asap. We have a ten working day policy (M-F) and try to send it out before this time.
5.If the timeframe has passed and you want to check on your order please email [email protected] with your order number, payment method and name to make it easy for us to follow up.
6.There is a limit of 30 x 40g bags per order-The reason we do this is so we can get all orders out in a timely fashion.

  • FYI, I have a Hotmail account and the email from Geronimo with the tracking number was sent to my Junk mail folder.

  • Funny how my Jerky was delivered and then the tracking number was emailed.
    lol

  • Anyone finding these are a lot dryer than usual?
