        or perhaps its:
Made from BPA. free Tritan material!

        I read it as :

        Made from BPA

        free Tritan material.

          Tritan material is innocent!

He's as guilty as 'Bill Posters' who was prosecuted…

@jv: Was he though? I only ever saw signs that he'd be prosecuted sometime in the future.

Works on contingency? No, money down!

      • I hope they didn't replace BPA with BPS. Some dodgy manufacturers have been doing that.

  • Great, can hold my Chivas Regal 18 Year Old.

  • There's also a smaller versions here, here & here

    • Higher cost per volume. It's not the OzBargain way.

Couldn't find any at Melbourne QV officeworks

In Victoria, unavailable on the shelf in both CBD stores. I was told South Melbourne has 4. Most other stores are out too.
    :(

    • Only green ones left at South Melbourne. Check the clearance track on the left towards the back of the store. Maybe seven or eight. I nabbed the grey and dark blue ones.

  • Nothing at Vermont south vic

I looked into Tritan material ages ago but ended up getting a stainless steel bottle. Apparently there is no guarantee that manufacturers don't use other harmful chemicals even if it is BPA free.

Tread wisely is all I'm saying, don't know about this particular brand (plus it's really cheap)

Tritan may be BPA free, but there is no guarantee it is free of causing estrogenic activity in humans - in fact evidence suggests otherwise

      • Very informative article, thanks.

      • Thanks for the great article. I wouldn't use these bottles even if they were free.

    • as long as there is no plastic type coating inside the stainless bottle, a lot do.

  • Nothing at Taren Point.

  • Out of stock online for Townsville, QLD. Will check instore tomorrow morning and update if needed!

  • Never believe in any cheap clearance stuff from Officeworks.Had bad previous experiences.Even if the online says that particular shop has,the staff will be like …what?no, it is computer error,we dont have stock, there is no such clearance etc etc and all this type of bullshit excuses. Never again.

    • exactly!

  • All colours out of stock at Gilles Plains 6 hours ago, despite what the website says.

    • All colours of stock

"In stock" or "out of stock"

      • +1

Sorry "out of stock" - edited thanks.

  • Plenty of stock in pink and lilac in Carlton store Sydney. Even at a $1 (even though the ticketed clearance sign showed $3) I didn't end up getting it. That internal straw will be a nightmare to wash properly. Managed to score Darrell Lee peanut butter brittle at $2 a bag so that was a bonus.

Website showed stock at Cannington WA
Went to store - could only see one on the shelf that looked like the right thing - but it was pink.
Showed the website listing on my phone to a staff member - he took me to the pink one I had found. Looked around and found some more pink and some green up above on the racks.
Took two green and two pink to checkout - remember, these are the same size, same brand, and look identical - and they scanned at a different price, $8! Surprise!
Asked the girl and she said they had a different SKU - but she checked and their system showed some of the cheap ones in stock.
She went off to look - surprise - nothing there.
But she finally came back and said that the manager gave her the ok to sell me the 'wrong' ones (which appear to be identical to the right ones in all respects except SKU) for the $1 per unit.
I tell you this long and boring tale for two reasons:
    1. Don't believe the website when they say they have stock, and
    2. If you push, you might get the 'wrong' ones for the right price.

    • it is officeworks =)

    thanks for this post!
grabbed a few. pretty good bottles for a water addict like me :)

No stock left at the Joondalup, WA store. Heaps at Osborne Park, WA store, but you'll have to ask someone as they are all out the back.

They also have the slightly larger 800ml bottles in different colours for $1 as well - http://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/otto-tritan…
Got 1 of each. I must say though the suction mechanism isn't my favourite. Can only have half a sip before stopping to let the air back in before I can get any more out..
I can definitely see why they're on clearance.

only a few pink ones left at Hoxton Park, scanned at full price but check out girl changed to $1.
