The headset will turn your phone into a virtual and augmented reality headset. All it requires is a phone between the size of 4.7" and 6".

It's perfect for watching videos in 3D or playing a wide range of games in VR and AR. You won't believe how Youtube's 360 degree videos look with this headset.

The coupon 5VRBOX2 will reduce the already discounted price to $24.99 (~$33.92 AU) and Discounted TNT Express Shipping is available.

This headset is the second generation and there are several improvements.. In the previous generation the front cover would have to be undone which was pain when trying to answer the phone and a lot of phones would not stick very well. In this generation there is a retractable frame that slides out of the side to keep your phone securely in place and makes it easily removable.

Another new feature is introduction of ideally placed holes on each side that allow you to insert earphones. This helps to improve the virtual experience by shutting out the noise to the world rest of the world and is perfect for binaural audio. Multiple vents have also been added to improve heat dissipation.

Included in the package is a Bluetooth controller that can be paired with your phone for navigation while using the headset and playing games. There is also a Blue Light Screen Filter that helps to reduce the blue light from the screen and protect your eyes. This will help to reduce eyestrain from excessive use.

Package includes: VR Headset, Bluetooth Controller, Blue Light Filter, Cleaning Cloth, Sponge Adhesive, Original Packaging, User Manual

  • Probably a stupid question, I know the size is going to be fine, bit is an S6 edge okay for this?

    • S6 Edge is fine.

  • Do you know the FOV for this version of the VR Box? I have VR Box 1 and the FOV isn't very impressive

    • 85-95 Degrees.

  • Noob question but how does this compare with the Samsung gear VR?

    • +2

This comment explains it pretty well. Obviously the VR Box 2 is better than Google Cardboard.

  • How much strain does this cause to the eyes? I have used google cardboard and can never use it continuously for more than a few minutes before my eyes start hurting.

    • Depends on each person. The filter will help to decrease that.

  • hows this compare to the htc vive?

    • An $800 VR headset that you hookup to a PC is quite a different product in comparison. The VR Box 2 is a great way to get into VR and AR with your phone. Better than using Google Cardboard.

  • Support iPhone?

    • Yes.

  • And iphone 6+?

    • Yes.

  • I ordered something from geekbuying. It took a whole month for them to just put it in the mail! Still haven't received it.

    It's US$21.21 on ebay…
    http://www.ebay.com/itm/2nd-3D-TV-VR-Box-Virtual-Reality-Car…

    • That one on ebay is just the VR headset. It doesn't include the Bluetooth controller and screen filter. It'll also take close to a month to arrive from China while Geekbuying have discounted express courier shipping.

What did you order before that took them a month to process? Was it something on presale?

  • Does it support Iphone 5? It said support phone from 3-6" and iphone 5 is 4" so I assume it will work?

    • Correct.

  • Seems like I can only purchase 1?

    Wanted 3..

    Also

    Order Subtotal: AUD 42.10
    Coupon Amount: -AUD 7.02
    Grand Total: AUD 35.08

    ??

    • Coupon takes X amount away from the price. You'd have to do 3 separate orders.

      • So the total is $35.08 not $33.92 ??

'The coupon 5VRBOX2 will reduce the already discounted price to $24.99 (~$33.92 AU) and Discounted TNT Express Shipping is available.'

        • That's based on the exchange rate at time of posting. Geekbuying's exchange rate can be a bit off.

A lot of people use credit cards like Citibank Plus or 28 Degrees through PayPal as there are no currency conversion fees and it gets them close to the current exchange rate.

        • Makes sense now thank you

And the discounted rate for TNT express would be how much? AUD 7.02 is that the discounted rate applied?

        • @Temptation: Yes. TNT is normally $15-$20.

        • Have already made one purchase, and wanting to purchase again as you said, but its not allowing me purchase.
Popup " Sorry you can only buy 1pcs"

  • So the price goes from USD$25.58 to USD$24.99….???? 59c discount off the discounted price?

    • Original price is $29.99 and my coupon brings it down to $24.99. GB went and put it on sale anyway which is why it's reduced by 59c.

      • I understand…. and then I pay $5 shipping (express)… and the price is back to $29.99… LOL… So effectively this is just the item with free express shipping… (which is fine!!)

  • What the heck is going on ??!!!!
