Good price for a hard drive.

Expensive for a display box though XD

  • Still $149 at QV store.

  • Probably store specific deal.

Confirmed quit stock at $109 if you can find them. Should be nationwide as office works system is showing them for that price (the exact model in the picture that is).

  • So are these in different colours?i was after silver this looks blue does this mean only blue is this price?
Is this old stock? Or is there same but newer model if so what?

    • From what i saw, metal chassis came in blue and silver.
Looks like old stock, don't know if there's a model that's replacing it though.
I only saw the 1tb metal, not the 2tb.

  • +2

$69 for the 1tb model too, should be nationwide…limited to whoever has stock I'd say.

Saw the 4tb seagate central for $133 today as well.

    • What! Where link it or pic please!

      Or it didnt happen

  • I didn't check other colours but they are no longer an active item in their system, so it's old / discontinued stock.

  • What's the Arse code ? Clearsence or Cleararse ?

    • +3

Are you done beating that horse?

  • Called up Cranbourne OW, they don't have any stock and they reckon it's a store specific clearance. Product "Ultra Metal Edition" doesn't seem to be online too.

  • Back at Campellfield Shops TA? Hopefully no Trolley dints this time ;)

Not this time buddy. Thanks :)

Got them to check VIC stock. Nothing left in VIC!

    • Call Campbellfield. They still have stock.

      • I was at Campbellfield when they checked. Two display boxes on the shelf, but no actual product in the cabinet at the checkout. They scanned the barcode and the nearest place was in NSW, but otherwise, no stock left at all.

        • The power of OzBargain eh. Shame you missed out :)

  • Guys I saw this post and went in to check the stock.

    Malaga WA Officeworks

They don't have the 2Tb in stock. But they had a 4Tb Seagate for $119, I bought one and got the receipt with me but that was the last one in that store.

    It's a Seagate Expansion 4Tb USB 3.0 - SGEX4000BK

Someone make a thread for this, it's worth it.

    • +8

that was the last one in that store
Someone make a thread for this, it's worth it.

so everyone can congratulate you on buying the last one?

      • +3

It's the last one in THAT store. The 2Tb above is still available in 3 other stores in WA by the way, it's not completely out of stock. These specials are nationwide so they apply to all Officeworks. If anyone can get their hands on this great deal it's worth it. For the record, I just checked MSY, and the 2TB version of the Seagate I purchased sells for $123, I got the 4Tb for $119. I'm sure another store or two have it in stock. Using it right now, USB 3.0, speeds are decent.

    • Usage ideas? Could be good for the PS4..

  • None in tuggeranong, ACT

  • Can i use this one on mac?

    • Yes, just format it using the disk utility

  • Can these be used in a PS4?

  • Officeworks (Bondi, NSW) has quite a few of the WD My Passport Ultra (Metal Edition) 1TB for the normal price of $99

Can "photon" please post a image of the price with $69 if you get a chance and I'll try a price match?

  • Any in Brisbane area?

    • Just got one in oxley, still some left.

  • Just bought the 2TB WD from Morley, WA store @ $109. Think they have a few more in stock
