If I needed a new 900mm rangehood, then this seems to be a cheap option (provided it fits).
If they had a slide-out model at this price, I'd buy it for a spare.

The installation and user manuals that come with the package will guide you step by step. Be careful of this rangehood as the packaging doesn't protect it well during shipping. I bought it last time, and didnt get around to installing it for a few months. Upon opening up the box, the rangehood was dented in one spot, one of the buttons was chipped. However, the box was not damaged on pickup. I know I wouldn't get anywhere with the seller, so didn't bother and just installed it anyway. lucky it was for a rental property, or I'd be really pee-ed off…
How well does it work and has it lasted. Also how loud is it. Reluctant to pull the trigger on buying it seeing as I have never heard of the brand before.

You dont' know what LOUD is until you've own a whirlpool 900mm rangehood :), loud but useless.
had a Westinghouse that was the same ! steam rolled up around the edges…
buy a robinhood….when it's on sale, they are like $250…as for noise, they are all noisy 9unless u spend big money on one with the motor mounted in the roof/ceiling).
Quality of this unit? Pretty crap.
Noise? Pretty crap.
Functionality? Works, and the cup collectors do the job, but u still have to clean the unit.
