I'm not sure why you got downvoted. It really doesn't look like they are doing well at all atm.
Overreaction much? This is 1 of 141 stores.
Probably nothing to do with the very shit location as well
What is wrong with the location? Not near public transport?
One of the worst Autobarns, my closest one and I've been going to this one for over a decade. Just poorly run, felt tired and dark, usually only 1 or 2 customers at any given time. The previous staff were okay but in the last couple of years they've got students working there instead who had very little general automotive knowledge. I'm not sad it's closed, it was poorly managed I'll be going to Fairfield instead.
We have three major auto parts chains. They all basically duplicate one another with slightly different SKUs depending on their deals with manufacturers and local distributors. They all cycle through the same sales on alternating weeks, each having at least 1-2 storewide sales a month. I don't think it's dire.
Put the state in the title please
Any reports of bargains/stock levels from anyone who has been in-store?
when I went this morning - there was a lot of motor oil, wipers, mcguirs cleaning, solar panels etc, also pioneer and nakamichi head units
Still stocked ish but it's getting pretty busy.
Never mind, some sections are more ransacked than others. Lots of cleaning products still. Most common oils for petrol cars are gone
Any engine oil suitable for Tesla Model 3?
Almost nothing left there. July 13 3pm.
thanks OP went there around 3:15pm and most stuff were gone lol but grabbed some as everything was 60% off
Well OZB people. Brick and mortar stores are closing their doors at an alarming rate. Partly due to our screen addictions.
But more likely the bigger companies buying out other companies. Then stocking same or similar product to out compete with the small business that survives.
Then the rent/lease prices must be a squeeze. Oh well.
Not looking good for Bapcor… Expect more store closures…
Very sad to see closing down so many local businesses like Catch, Rivers and now Autobarn. God save Australia.
