Only problem is that people will ask what you are over-compensating for. :)
Sony factory second eBay shop also have this model for $3359 refurbished, but I rather pay extra $200 for a brand new one.

How far should you be from this TV in order to be comfortable watching it.
I am considering the Samsung curve 65" for $3200 or this for an extra $400.
I would say about the same as for a 65', so ~3.5-4m. As long as your lounge room is big enough then 75 kicks ass over 65. This is a good price - anything close to $3k for a 75' is good value.
For 4K, bigger is better. Even 75" isn't big enough to see much of a difference for 4K.

Bing Lee has it for $3596.00 after discount + cash rewards.
Did they increase the postage on the Tvs? It was about $40 earlier and this evening it increased to $60 for my address.

I bought 1 during Xmas sale for $3999. Excellent TV, Netflix 4K works perfectly and OS is solid. Best TV experience so far. Tv sound is bit let down but for those who can afford this will have nice home theatre setup or sound bar to compensate the tv sound.
I agree the sound is not good but I could live with it. I later got my Philips sound bar from COTD for $160. It has ARC. The sound bar is not the best in terms of sound quality, but it has the best ratio of quality per dollar spent.
I bought this TV with a similar price from last boxing day. I am very happy about the TV. With this price, it is a no brainer if you are looking for a decent 75 4k tv. Gonna use this TV to play Tom Clancy's The Division on PS4. Good luck. :)
