I don't see any point in publishing deal everyday for 1 or 2 items from iherb. Why can't you add this item in your post from yday or day before yday.

    • +10

He gets huge amounts of referral credits. Same with point with frequent mediocre Groupon/Amaysim posts.
TBH some of the Amaysim deals are good but its all about the referrals with old EC.

        Can't agree more.

Yup the bi-weekly EC random iherb product (e.g. referrals please) post :-D

    • +2

Referrals that's why, just making money from Ozbargain . Referral posts should be limited to max 2 per month

      • +1

EC has not added referral link in the post so that this is not considered as a referral deal yet.
Top players know only adding referral link when the deal jumps to the front page. Before that, they can do multiple trials.
It is a kind of loophole on Ozbargain.

Check last 5 days post from ec, ta, Trent, lyl n Monty.m. You'll realise who is posting what.

        • @pyramid: i wish more people on this site would cotton on to this fact

      • -1

        Its not a referral link.

        • +1

Takes five positive votes for the poster's referral to automaticaly appear.

ANY item that is claimed to be a SUPERFOOD is no longer credible. I wish we had a rule here about dubious medical or health benefit claims for products - any products that people post here should actually benefit the members.

    • -7

please back your claim by science and evidence

      • +3

It's not up to us to disprove your claims. The way science works is that you need to prove your assertion.

Please provide links to studies backing your superfoods and their health benefits.

It had long been known that there is no such thing as a superfood. No claimed 'superfoods' have been proven to be any more beneficial than any regular foods.

No claimed 'superfoods' have been proven to be any more beneficial than any regular foods.

that's why its called a supplement i.e. to supplement your regular diet. By no means it is to replace real food.

          @easternculture:

Let me be clear. No superfood has ever been proven to be more effective, have more nutrients, be better for you or be a better supplement than any other supplement not labelled a superfood.

The superfood label is designed to deceive the consumer. By the implication that they are more effective than things not labelled a superfood.

        • +2

@easternculture: So, in what way is it 'super' - i.e better than regular food? These 'superfood' fads are money making cons designed to fleece money from trusting people - much like vitamin supplements. They do not belong on a bargain site in my opinion, any more than any other fake medical devices.

There is zero evidence to say the junk you are hoping to get a referral payment for is any more beneficial than eating an apple - but it costs a thousand times as much.

    Looking for a superfood???
You do not need these things if you eat real food as part of your normal diet.

  • There is a surprising lack of neg votes on this
