  • Hey, awesome deal! I spotted this as well when I was looking for Surface Pro 4 alternatives with a decent stylus. There's also the 8gb version with 256gb: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Lenovo-IdeaPad-Miix-700-Intel-Cor…

Still haven't decided which one to get yet.

Yeah, the group buy can save you $9 lol ….

      • I made it wrong actually group buy save you $49.

I guess this is a good price if you want this exact laptop, but 4GB RAM and 128GB SSD for $1240 doesn't seem like a bargain to me.

  • dont buy it, terrible processor and ram and bad ssd. theres an inspiron on dell ebay for 1100 with an i5 or i7, 8gb ram gpu etc

Just wondering, does it come with a stylus or work with a stylus?

      • +1

If it does, probably not an active stylus like you probably want. There's the Dell Latitude 12 thin & rugged (the new one) it's a 2 in 1 but much more expensive than this for the same specs. It's good but it's a corporate product. Lenovo is probably the best option in terms of build quality out there (as a Surface alternative for note taking).

        • There's a code for free keyboard with pro 4, so with the 10% education discount, it'd be around $1800.

So what do you think between the miix 700 (8gb/256gb SSD version at $1600) vs the surface pro 4? (8gb/256gb version at $1800)?

        • @pizzaofpeace: Oh I'd go the surface in terms of overall quality but the $200 price difference might sway me to the Miix
