  • Freesync 60 Hz.

  • any thought? is it a good deal?

    • If you are looking for a 4K monitor, then yes. This is a pretty good price. 4k monitor prices have been hovering at around 500-600 upwards.

Keep in mint, UHD resolution on a 24 is tiny. So I'd advise you use it with scaled resolutions.

      • thanks for reply and heads-up, I'm gonna wait the 'game version'(144HZ) 4k monitor.

      • yeah 24" is too small, 27 or 28" min would be nice. I'm not that fussed about speed …… otherwise it's a whole system upgrade for me, the the extra resolution would be nice for general computing.

      • I sit fairly close to the monitor so anything larger than 24 inches is too big. Having used to ultra hd phones and tablets I want the same experience on the PCs.

  • Samsung PLS is techinically better than LG IPS, but in reality they are basically same. Oddly enough, Samsung hardly ever supplies its LCD to other manufacturers unlike LG and Sharp for some reasons.

60Hz meh 144Hz is where its at these days!

    • has any 144HZ 4k monitor come out yet?

      • There isn't enough bandwidth, unless you use VESA display stream comparison.

        • Displayport 1.4 was only standardised on March 1, 2016.

      • Don't believe any monitors that support 4k, can do more than 60Hz right now.

Playing games at 4k and beyond 60fps, you'll need a beast of a machine (not whether current generation graphics are up to it just yet).

Both monitor and graphics card will need to support display port 1.3 at least for 120Hz, and as above display port 1.4 for 144Hz. Some time off still till offerings become available.
