  The battle of the coffee machines? This is the 3rd post I've seen :D Does anyone rate these machines in terms of quality?

    We have a couple of the Dolce Gusto machines, and the machine itself is fairly good. The capsules that they make are something that may not suite everyone's tastes. Good idea to go to one of the Target stores that has the free tasting going on at the moment for these machines.

  Anyways the machine is much better than the piccolini we had before. Mainly the 2.5x Larger water storage and automatic were helpful, the rest not so much. It doesn't look too nice though and takes up a lot of space in comparison.

    16 pods/capsules in a box. Stick with the cafe au lait (good choice for those who like white coffee) or black coffee pods that require only 1 pod to make the drink, some drinks like cappuccino require 2 pods to make the drink so works out expensive.

  Nice price if you like the look of this one. Target also have the "mini me" automatic machine reduced from $119 to $59 (No free cap boxes with this one) https://www.target.com.au/p/dolce-gusto-mini-me-edg3-5bg/570… . They have had it on for this price for a couple of weeks now (Previously sold at Coles stores for about $49 from memory). We have Mini Me's at home and another at work (Which anyone can use in the office, and it has had a lot of use). The Mini Me's have never missed a beat, but took us some time to find a capsule flavour that we actually liked :-). I am sure that the Melody is just as reliable.
