    I get random video dropouts using it to connect my PC to my LCD TV. Should I expect anything better from this cable or should I just spend a bit more?

      I wouldnt expect that from ANY cable tbh, that's utter garbage. For my 360 i bought some $8 cheapest i could find HDMI cable from ebay, from HK or somewhere, and it works fine.. so really whatever i bought, i'd at least expect it `to work', doesnt sound like yours does very well :/

        Thanks for that, a good read. I always suspected that was the case tbh, i could never understand why ppl pay so much for hdmi cables, even the cheap ones are gold-plated etc anyways, so no need to spend over $10 as u said

      You must have got a dodgy one, I've bought many of those cables and had no issues at all. $5.95 with free shipping just edges out this deal.

    I would buy one but I dont have any more HDMI products to connect to my tv. Great value, way better than Harvey Normans 1m cable for $199.95.

    Over a 2m length almost anything will work. Start going 10m or 20m then you really need to consider what you're buying.
