Bosch (Green) 18V 2 x 1.5Ah Cordless Drill Combo $199 @ Bunnings Warehouse

100

Same as previous deals: Aug 2015; Dec 2014.

Cheaper @ Masters but no stock (at least in VIC): Masters $140

$199: Bosch (Green) Cordless Drill Combo:

  • PSB 1800 Li-2 (2 Speed Hammer Drill)
  • PDR 18 Li (Impact Driver)
  • 2 x 1.5 Ah Lithium Ion Batteries
  • 1 hour charger
  • Carry case

Bosch 18V "Power 4All" range compatible (Jigsaw, Palm Sander, Circular Saw, Demolition Saw, Hedge Trimmer, Leaf Blower, Lawn Trimmer).

Plenty of stock in Frankston (at least 6 kits left this morning).

I've used this impact driver before to build mate's deck. It worked so well that I've been looking to buy one for myself. I already have Bosch drill, but at this price and 2 x batteries, I couldn't pass up. Impact driver with 2 batteries is selling for $229 @ Masters or Bare tool only for $139 on eBay. $69 for 1 battery alone.

  • Price beat masters?

Yep. Just picked this up from Bunnings Midland, WA for $126 - price matched with Masters ($140) without fuss.

If I could do it again I would have shown them a screen shot of the Masters price from post code 2000 which has it for $94 which would come to $84.60!

    • I'm curious Jettblack - why?

      • Can't say if this is what Jettblack was refering to, for one thing, the Dewalt Impact driver has more power than the Bosch one in that kit - not much, but it is. Can't tell what the drill is like.I suspect from trying some of the Dewalt stuff at bunnings they they are lighter than the equivalent power Bosch or AEG gear - somehow they seem ot make it feel that bit lighter and also more compact.

    • 1.5ah is small, 1.3ah is a joke

    • Out of stock

      • try other stores

      • At a few stores, still available in most stores

    • Add on 10% off coupon code, then 5% off rewards gift cards and you have a sick deal. I bought the multitool, drill, worklight combo and everything is decent. Nothing I can really complain about yet, especially for the price point. Everything feels very beefy and well built if that means anything.

      • …what's the coupon code?

        • you make an account and sign up to their newsletter, they will then send you a 10% off coupon. I think they are targeted codes.

    • 3 to 5 hour charger.

Had the exactly same kit and it was horrible. Impact drill died after a few uses. The driver was ok and pretty powerful. Charging time to long. Replaced them with the De Walt kit from bunnings

I'd pass on Bosch Green. Bosch Blue is good, however.
Agree with the above posters saying spend a bit more for the Dewalt kit.

  • I am on the market to buy a combo set now, would you recommend this?

I would use it maybe once a month for general home duties but want something that will last years with good resale value.
