    I hope you're having a Filet-O-Fish for Good Friday…

  • if I buy a big-mac for $3 would I get the free fries and drink?

    • Is that a rhetorical question?

      • +1

        I don't see how.

    • That promotion has finished.

Does anyone miss the days of paper vouchers where you didn't have to worry about printing things out and/or stuffing around with your phone?

"Valid until 31/03/16 at participating Queensland and Northern Territory McDonald's® Restaurants." :( tears

  • I dont see an expiry - does anyone else notice one?

Last line of the email says "Valid until 31/03/16 at participating Queensland and Northern Territory McDonald's® Restaurants."

      • butts head against wall

      • It's a "Restaurants"!!!
That's the last time I ever clear the table myself.

        • Fast food restaurant, but still a restaurant none the less.

  • I wonder if trying this in other states will work… I'll give it a go and let you guys know :)

      I'll give it a go

      That's the Aussie spirit !!!!

    • Worked for me in Sydney. The cashier looked briefly at the voucher before bringing her manager over. The manager had a quick look at the voucher itself, scrolled to the top of the page to look at the URL, then finally honoured it. Your experience may vary.

  • Guys, are their Strawberry/Caramel sundae's any good?

When these burgers don't decay after being kept for years, or resist molten copper, I ask what will the burgers do to me?

Does anyone know about their other products like soft serve, frozen sodas, coffees, macaroons?

    • It's nothing magical. Just sugar, salt and stardust

  • I dont know about the big cities but im in Mackay and every time i tried to use the vouchers i had to argue with the staff (4 times). And everytime they ended up giving me the discounts. If this is legit i dont understand why they dont tell their employees about the current deals.

    • I agree. Trying to use last week's $2 bacon and egg McMuffin deal, I was met with, "Um, you're the first to use it", to just putting through 4 soft serve cones on the receipt and calling out to the baggers to give me a muffin instead.

I had the same response this morning trying to use these vouchers at Chermside QLD. Neither cashier or manager knew what to do with it at first (e.g. manager suggested trying to click the picture/link first to redeem the voucher, but the link just takes you to some PassWallet app). They eventually just honoured the vouchers and apologised saying that it was the first time they've seen these vouchers. They could keep employees better informed.

  • Any idea if I can use this to order more than one at a time… 3 for $9?

  • Tried this at 2 stores and was turned away because they said "At participating stores only". Was told only McDonald owned stores were participating. When I asked them where I could find the list of participating stores, they had no idea. The website also has none of this info.

    • Curious to know too which stores are McDonald owned stores. I always thought that McDonald's restaurants were owned and operated by individual franchisees.

    • I have used these successfully, even though a bit frustratingly, at franchisee owned stores, so what they told you is not true.

thanks for sharing your experiences guys, annoys me that McDonalds will come up with a promo like this but due to lack of communication with head office and all stores (regardless of whether they are company owned or not)…it is makes it difficult or awkward for customers to claim…for a global brand that has more than 30,000 branches worldwide…they can do better…

  • Confirmed boys and girls, this offer works at Maccas North Perth - for some reason was charged $1.50 for the regular sundae. Enjoy!
