ZenMate VPN - US $3.75 (~AU $5) for 1 month of Premium VPN - Easter Deal (61% off)

20

I personally use this provider on a daily basis. It has never disconnected or glitched and their software is very efficient. They don't have servers in AU, though, which might a problem for some.

61% discount only applies to monthly subscriptions.

  • servers in 20 countries
  • IPsec protocol (IPsec/IKEv2 for iOS)
  • software for Windows, Mac, Android, iOS
  • free browser extensions
  • no logs
  • torrents allowed

ZenMate also works with Netflix. More info on ZenMate features: http://www.review-vpn.com/zenmate-vpn/

  • Is this just a vpn? Or does it include a socks5proxy?.
How are the speeds for torrenting?.

Never mind. No russian server (need ip to get around geo block). Ill pass :/

    • they don't have socks5 proxy. torrenting speeds are really good

Not impressed by the price given better known vpn providers offer a fairly similar price (< $US5/month with coupons that are readily available) but with more servers and countries available. IPVanish and NordVPN are two examples.

If anything, this particular deal seems overpriced.

    • nordvpn is much slower so are a lot of other providers. just saying

      • I use IPVanish and speeds are very good. Can't comment on nordvpn as I don't use it, but I take your comment with a grain of salt.

Yes, IPVanish is fast, but it's not cheap either. Regular monthly price is the same as ZenMate - US $10, annual is 10% lower. And ZenMate currently offers a -61% deal so I'm not even sure why you feel this deal is not worthy of attention.

As far as countries go, most users need USA and one other country (close to them). Having a large number of countries servers mainly one purpose - to attract a wider client base from various regions, not to cater to 1 user who needs 100 locations on a regular basis because virtually nobody needs that. So as long as you see a location that you need, all the others are irrelevant.

        • @VPNsecurity:

          You're right. I shouldn't have criticised.

It is good to see different options provided here for ozbargainers.
