    Interested. Any user comments?

    • +5

no lol, it's uncomfortable as f**k. Brother had one but chucked it out. My actual car seat feels better.

  • Does it sit on racing wheels?

    • Oh I wish…….

    • that's an optional extra

  • +3

this normally sells for 119 so was 99 with the 20 off 100 spend coupon in feb… this is the cheapest price i've seen but ignore the WAS price no one would pay that.

  • I assume its PU leather at this price

    • +2

      Clearly

I think we paid $149 for this a few weeks ago:(

What's your opinion of it? Worth picking up if looking for an office chair?

      • +2

My partner said it didn't give her back pain even after 5 hours sitting on it doing her long ass essay. It must be good. Sorry I haven't really used it.

        • +8

Is it also suitable for people with regular-length, or even short, asses?

        • +3

Is it comfortable if you have a really tight ass?

  • What's "Butterfly tilt mechanism" exactly?

    • +8

You tilted your chair too fast, so you are out of balance. You then flip your arms just like butterfly wings to prepare to fall on the ground. There you go, butterfly tilt mechanism.

  • +3

ahhh GAWW i just bought one for double the price yesterday.. FFS

    • +2

Bought the one from ebay. Thanks op

  • +5

Needs a turbo and red painted legs for the extra kW.

    • Might as well get some random Kanji stickers for extra torque.

  • +1

    Cool, thanks :)

  • +2

Thanks OP n jase2801… bought from ebay

  • +3

Ended up buying the website one instead of ebay…..Ebay didn't post to Tas, where website (hopefully) does. :). Cheers OP

Crap seat paddings. After 6 months you start having the support poking your bum.

    • +4

Why did you have to say that right after i clicked purchase haha :'(

I need a new cheap seat anyway my other one is starting to peel and go Ferrel

      • He is right about the south pole.

        Tried the chair. Its comfy.

    • How often did you sit on it? I'm a casual gamer and use the computer maybe one or two hours a day Max. Hoping this chair lasts longer than the cheap kmart one I bought for $50…

  • Can someone tell me the minimum height of the armrest?

  • +2

    bought one, thanks -)

      Get around him

brought the same one from zerintrading pick up 2 weeks ago $55 picked up.

very easy to assemble and very comfy.
ive gone through about 3x cheap office chairs (50-150 bucks) home use and this one is by far the best

now the only con with this is if you are tall the neck rest bit curve down abit too much and it makes contact with your lower part of your neck/back this could be annoying if you sit all the way back and only lean your neck forward.

    • +1

      https://zerintrading.com.au/product/pu-leather-office-chair-…
It's back at $75? Just based on your review I'm going to order one thanks,

      • But it's out of stock at Zerintrading, unless you meant to order one from this deal.

        • Ordered one from this deal. Was going to order from ebay but their conditions for delivery don't post to QLD regional (Brisbane?). Ended up paying through their website anyway. Paid via paypal in case it arrives damaged so I can be eligible for the paypal paid returns.

Excludes: Northern Territory, QLD Far North, QLD Regional, Tasmania, WA Regional, WA Remote, PO Box

Either way assuming we can return the item if its faulty to any super cheap auto for replacement/refund?

        • @R3XNebular: O, I see. I am in SA so it straight away showed as deliverable. Didn't know there were exclusions to some other regions. As long as you paid it through PayPal that's all that matters to cover your backside if something goes wrong.

  • +1

    Bought. Thanks OP.

  • +3

Does it have much of a sound system? Where would you put a big subwoofer?

  • Fully sick mate!

  • Will go well with the g29 wheel.

  • +2

There's only one left on their eBay page (as of now).

    • And it's gone!!

      • That was fast. haha

  • The JVC Noise cancelling headphones looks good too. $39 for an active pair is the cheapest I've seen for a "branded" unit.

  • Read as "hot lap dancing office chair".

    • I can see how you made that mistake

      Butterfly tilt mechanism
      360 degree swivel
      Adjustable height
      White feature stitching
      Breathable mesh insert
      Max recomended weight 120kg

      • The weight limit might be a problem. Depends on the dancer tho.

        • Combined weight?

  • Had a chair like that which i bought at officeworks for $99 last year

    • the officeworks ones are 150 now

      btw, how was that one?

      • The Officeworks one is the same one for 150$. We bought it a few weeks ago.

        • The arms are quite different. OW ones can't be folded back.

    • They are different ones.

      • i know this

  • +1

Wouldn't worry about it. It’s an ok chair but nothing to rave about. It is not comfortable in the long run.

When you lean back, it tilts and there is no option to not tilt. So, you will end up sitting without leaning backwards anyway or at least that's what happened in my case. Not good for the neck too.

Even though they look similar but the one at Officeworks is different I think or at least they used to be different. I have used both and don't recommend either of them.

Save the bucks and buy a decent one.

    • Damn it. That's a game changer for me the fact that there is no way to disable the tilt.

  • This deal need to combined with logitech g29!

  • +2

I have a good quality leather chair but the foam is gone, might as well have a new chair and try and fix mine later on.

    • I'm in the same boat. Gas strut on mine compresses when you lean back.

      • +2

I bought two nice expensive leather chairs, one for me and one for my wife, and my wife's chair gas strut failed very quickly and the foam inside on both are crap.

Better off with cheap chairs I think.

        • The old saying;"Buy cheap, buy it twice" is still better than "buy expensive, still buy it twice"

  • +1

Thanks nocure! SCA server is having a hissy fit this morning, Tried for 15 minutes and couldn't get through to the end of the order :-(

  • +1

Bought. The eBay store doesn't deliver to TAS so I have to order it at their own website.
(Don't know what is the real difference…Maybe because eBay charges selling fee so they're not willing to cover the delivery cost to regional australia on eBay.)

Hope the chair is comfy :)

  • +1

Brought one, had a similar blue one from Officeworks about two years ago. Thanks :)

  • You know what I think would be best.

Buying a proper Race Car Bucket Seat and having it attached to a quality base. Might cost a bit but will last a lot longer than this POS and will last a lot longer.

I am going to make my own and will list them up and can make one for anyone that is interested.

Seems like the special is over…checked last night.

Bought 2 chairs. Bought same chairs from some other ebay seller for $119 last month.

  • +1

I'm annoyed I didn't buy another one, was a really good price :(

  • They still haven't sent it out yet

    • ordered 27th, just now received notification of shipment

    • just got mine shipped apparently they ship from ALTONA NORTH for mine
Transit time as mentioned from the courier company (Hunter Express) is apparently Overnight
      so that will be interesting

    • I just got mine today, you'll get it most likely tomorrow. The packaging is dodgy and could be better….

  • Finally got the chair, packaging was torn, delivery guy just left it on my driveway and no instructions were included in the box.

    • +1

      no instructions

      It's a chair?

      • The instructions made me laff '1 hour to build', 15mins later was relaxing my seat.

      • Typically when you buy products that require to be put together i expect to have instruction to fall back on. But yeah it took about 10 mins to put together.

        • /gif Homer BBQ instructions

(I like how we have a thing now, where we can quote Gify's and you see them without seeing them)

  • +1

Just got mine, packaging was beat up and box had a hole in the bottom. I'm also missing everything in the hardware list except for the Castors (wheels). Don't have any of the bolts or washers to attach the chair together. Or am I just expecting too much and they don't actually come with the chair?

  • "Thank you for your recent online order.

We regret to inform you that we are unfortunately unable to supply your order of the Hot Lap Racing Office Chair at the current time. Unfortunately this item has been oversold online and our supplier is unable to supply more stock.

Your order has now been cancelled and refunded back through your original payment method."

    Not happy.

  • +1

I'm sad to hear some people are having problems with the chair, it took about 7 days (incl the weekend) for it to arrive to sort of regional area. Came with everything although the bottom screws seem odd? (I had to swap 2 of the long ones and 2 of the short ones around for it to work properly) other then that though, the quality was way better then I expected for a cheap sub 100 dollar chair. Is comfy enough and works great.
