As seen in previous deals, 2016 is the 20th Anniversary of Pokemon, and Jirahci is April's Free Mythical Event Pokemon.
For this month, it is redeemable via the Nintendo Network.

Type: Steel/Psychic
Ability: Serene Grace
Move Set: Wish, Confusion, Rest, [Moveslot 4 empty]

To Download:
Select MYSTERY GIFT from the start menu.
Select RECEIVE GIFT, then YES to confirm.
Select GET VIA INTERNET, then YES.
Watch as you receive your Pokemon.
Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokemon Center to receive your Pokemon.
Be sure to save your game.
Redeemable once per game cartridge

    Get Jirachi to learn Iron Head/Zen Headbutt. Serene Grace doubles the chance the opponent's Pokemon will flinch.

      Heart Stamp should also be considered as a psychic move.

      Heart Stamp (Psychic, physical)
      BP 60
      Accuracy 100%
      30% chance of flinching (60% with serene grace)

      Zen Headbutt (Psychic, Physical)
      BP 80
      Accuracy 90%
      20% chance of flinching (40% with serene grace)

      do we need to redeem in both version of the game?

      or can u trade with yourself if u got both versions?

        You can do both. As it is a digital download you can redeem it on every eligible copy of the game you have.

        You can also trade it.

          When you trade it, you lose it. You trade by giving someone a Pokemon of yours in exchange for one of theirs. You lose your original one, they lose their original one.

          You do lose your own, that's why it is a trade. You swap Pokemon.

    … Back in my days, I had to get my mum to drive me to Westfields Burwood to plug my gameboy in to get Celebi!! So much easier these days lol

      They still make you go instore for some of them. I'd rather have to plug in or connect via instore wifi to get it than use codes…people too often take too many and leave not enough for the rest, then you see them being sold on eBay.

      Just set a reminder in your calendar… There's one every month. It's not too hard to remember. It runs from 1-24 of every month.

      This wasn't a code distribution. It was distributed through the Nintendo Network.
      Only Mew (Feb), Darkrai (May), Areceus (Aug) and Genesect (Nov) are code distributions.
