  • any issues with scoot airlines to worry about?

    • +2

Dreamliner 787 is a relatively new plane that has insufficient safety statistics record….if this makes you worry.

its a budget carrier. you get what you paid for.

i haven't had any major complaints yet. sure the seats are a bit hard, but for the price i pay, i guess 5 hours isn't that bad. the timing isn't the best, but again for what i pay, ill put up with it.

      • Scoot is better than airasia for long hauls in my experience

    • They're owned by Singapore Airlines

      • So was Tiger Air. And they were crap. Cheap sure. Nasty definitely.

        • +1

"TigerAir Australia" is actually a Virgin Australia Subsidiary.
Have been that way for a couple of years.

        • @bsmksg: I was referring to tigerair in general, mainly its singaporean based operations, but yes, tiger air australia is owned by virgin, as is most of their operations that isnt in singapore.

      Flew them once.
Quite liked it. Nothing out of the ordinary but that's exactly what I wanted. Got me from A to B and it was cheap.

  • Better budget airline company than air asia, tiger and jetstar, especially with the new 787. Roomier with seatings of 3, 3 and 3 in a row and more leg rooms.
