  • if this includes LEGO that is a good deal !!

    • If you look at the catalogue it seems that Lego is included.

      • too bad they dont sell rare expensive lego, imagine if i can get 2 ferris wheels for $200
or 2x sydney opera for $350

        • +2

Sometimes they do. I got an Ewok Villiage and a Tumbler from Target awhile ago.

        • +2

They have had the UCS TIE Fighter, Ewok Village and Tumbler available within the last year.

        • +1

You really are the laziest Lego scalper ;P

        • I wouldn't mind the Palace Cinema.

And I wish Lego would bring back the Shuttle Tydirium!

      • Hope there's mini figs!

        • they're often at the register, too many get pinched

        • I did notice last week at my local store the Simpsons Series 2 were reduced to $3.

  • Do they normally do this online or in store only?

    • they have both instore and online.
      i have tried

      • Anything better in store LEGO wise or same thing?

        • i did buy 2 star wars millennium falcon in store, which is not available online.
also not available in most of the store, i need to call them 1 by 1.

some of the lego deals are not bad

  • +1

So it's basically an 'up to 25% off' sale?*

    *if you buy 2 items.

    • *That cost the same.

      • Yeah, hence 'up to', otherwise it might be less. :(

I mean, still a deal, so not complaining. But never been a fan of 'buy X to save Y' instead of, just save Y to begin with.

    • Depends on what you buy, if you buy stuff from catalogue or stuff from the toy clearance that's already on special then win win

      • True true! :)

    • 33%, dear Watson

      • +1

Up to 25% off is correct, Sherlock.

  • Excludes interactive games. So Lego dimension and Disney infinity are excluded from the buy 1 get 1 half price?

    • Correct. Sadly. I've been waiting for a sale on Lego Dimensions to get it below 100!

      • Yep, I agree!

    • Skylanders should not be included either

  • Anything below Slazenger Beginners Youth Cricket Kit on the list comes up as full price.

    • Yeah that's because all the other specials will start Thursday :)

Any nerf guns? Can we have a Ozbargain nerf war?

    • Sadly (for you, I hated restocking them) Target seems to have stopped getting Nerf guns in favor of dodgy random brand imitations which are cheaper and… honestly, ugly and flimsy

      • Theres a whole page in there on nerf guns including a target exclusive one?

        • Damn. Guess they're coming back. We just cleared out a whole lot of old stock and replaced them with cheap ones but I guess they realised that was a dumb idea.

  • Only on this Thursday?

    • I can't remember but it's at least until Sunday but I think it's all week (until Wednesday) since it's in the catalogue

      • is it also online or in store only?

  • +2

FYI Big W online is running a BOGOF promotion for their Home, Toys, Disney movies, and some bras.

  • What happens if u return an item which was bought at the half price?

    • you get back what you paid for it.

      • We had a lady get really angry because she bought something full price and tried to return it without a receipt goodness knows how much later for that despite it being half the price.

Keep a receipt and you get what you paid for it. So yes, return your toys and rebuy them.

        • What if u return the item that was full price but keep the half price one?

  • Do you think it includes pokemon cards?

    • Yes, but my store doesn't stock them so I'm not sure how many other stores would

  • Return full price lego items, re-buy at 25% off?

    • Go for it. It's your right to, as long as you have the receipt

      • exactly.. I bought a heap of toys last year at the mid-year sale and put them on lay-by. When I collected them some months later I went to the front desk, returned them and then went and bought them off the shelf cheaper than the sale price from the mid-year sale. Saved myself about $40 or so by being price aware.

so also, my lesson learnt from that was that the mid-year toy sale is a bit of a misnomer.

      • I've found if the item is no longer on the shelf/sold out, some stores won't let you return the item and rebuy, instead it "has to go out on the shelf for a day to allow other people to buy"

        • +1

Even if it is on the shelf, that's what we are meant to do. I mean, seriously, who cares. You're still buying it for the same price as a customer will.
This is what we are meant to do. But I say go ask a team member who isn't a manager to get it out of returns and give it to you. Or just hope you have a good team member at refunds (unlikely)

        • @nkbswe5: Hey do you know if buy 1 get 1 free Disney dvd's are still on @ Target?

        • @TRENT86: Late reply! The flyer said ends 28th March so I assume not. It's not our deal, it's a Disney deal, supposedly.

        • @nkbswe5: bugger cause the DVD'S are now $16. Cheers for the reply :)

    • Can you explain what you mean by the rebuying bit?

      • +1

If you already purchased Lego before this sale then return it to the store with your receipt, get refund and then walk into the store and buy the Lego at the cheaper price.

    • Up to 33% off total: $10 + $10x0.50 = $15. $20 value for $15 = 1.33

      • Try 15/20 = 0.75
You paid 75% of the full price. 25% saving.

        • This is why I'm no accountant

    • or can i buy 2 item, then refund the full price one?
      sounds wicked.. just wondering..

  • +1

and can u return the full price item and keep the half price item?
    lol

  • WARNING - the second toy at half price is the cheapest possible toy in your transaction. I just bought 2 x $15 toys and 2 x $7 toys, expecting to get one of the $15 toys at half price and one of the $7 toys at half price - but I (luckily) checked the receipt while still in the store to find I had paid 2 x $15 and 2 x $3.50! Of course returned them all immediately and repurchased in 2 separate transactions. I bet a lot of people are duped by that. Not Ozbargainers, of course.

  • i hope this is for all toys.. i just email the customer service, there are limited legos that available and they said the offer is valid.
but i gott an email from them this morning that the items i am after is excluded from the promotion

    • but i gott an email from them this morning that the items i am after is excluded from the promotion

What are you after? Video games and associated toys (Skylanders, Disney Infinity, Lego Dimensions, Amiibo) are excluded.

      • i am after the lego star wars millennium falcon.
i tried my luck anyway and i got the discount instore!

  • I am in Adelaide and I am after some Lego city, anyone would like to share?

  • Yesterday Purchased the view-master vr viewer for $49 and the "space" expansion pack was discounted to $9.50. Purchased together.

  • interested to get the Leappad 2 Power. Anyone in Perth interested in buying one too so we can take advantage together on this Promo?
