  • Compatible with Nexus 5x/6p?

    No AUS plug type available?

    • +3

was just updating when you posted that, so its included now

got some aussie cables i will swap for EU/US if anyone is interested

      • How can I be sure if I will get the AU plug?

Which plug type should I choose as AU isn't available in the list.

        • +2

if you dont want to buy another AU cable (from elsewhere) then order US and bend them so they fit in Aus power points

        • +3

It's using a standard figure 8 cable. If you don't have one lying around they can be picked up very cheap on eBay or OW.

        • +1

@smacko: that is terrible and dangerous advice… Just buy a proper AU cable.

Bent US pins means it'll never fully fit into the socket leaving exposed parts of the pin which are not insulated (which proper au plug pins are)

  • Should I get this or the other 5 Port Tronsmart Charger with only one QC

    • +2

i have the old model, works fine however the new model has an on/off switch on the back, which is a good feature as leaving chargers plugged in does use power (tiny bit).

      • +3

Interested in an on/off switch, will be getting this one. Thanks.

    • +2

I have the 5 port one- it's good for travelling. I'm also getting this one, to use as a charging station at home. I like this one for home use because it can sit neatly/flat on my TV bench and has the on/off switch at the back.

    • +2

One QC port is never enough.. especially if you have multiple devices that support that standard.

  • $33.58AUD on the aliexpress ios app?

  • yes $33.58 when using alipay to convert to AUD

you will get a better rate paying in USD with something like the 28degrees credit card, bankwest platinum credit card or citibank plus debit card.

    • I got those cards but how i make it chage to usd? Cant find options its auto converted on the app

      • its under settings in the app, country/currency

        • Thnx found it..

  • +4

Wow lucky I held off the Anker deal….this has 5xQC2.0 compatible ports just killed the competition.

  • Note this doesn't come with a USB Charging Cable

  • Has anyone found something similar with at least one USB Type C port?

Dude, are u serious? I just ordered the Tron Charger 30minutes before u posted this @.@

  • +1

Exactly what I was after, grabbed 2, thanks.

  • How long does shipping usually take from these places? And any options for express delivery?

I don't mind waiting 3-4 months for freebies or cheap impulse purchases (I usually forget about them, so it's a pleasant surprise when they arrive), but I find it frustrating for purchases that I'm actually waiting for.

    • +1

all items I've bought from AliExpress have arrived in Melbourne within 3-4 weeks

      • +1

Around 50% come in under 2 weeks for me. I have almost 50 orders.

  • +1

Where is JV or clear to bring a deal on it with an au plug? We r waiting for u.

    • According to Clear, geekbuying stop stocking AU plugs

      • :(

      • +1

This one never included an AU plug.

  • +1

Fig 8 power cables are $4.50 from Officeworks if you're desperate.

  • +2

What's the deal with usb cables with these? Any certain ones I should be using?

    • OEM cables that came with your phone or tablet should be fine.

      • Thanks!

  • Excellent, thank you very much :)

  • What's the difference between the above and the Tronsmart U5PTA USB Charger Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0

    http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Tronsmart-Quick-Char…

    • +1

The Titan has 5 ports with Quick Charge 2.0 while that charger has 1 port with Quick Charge 3.0.

QC3 is upto 27% more efficient than QC2 and fully backwards compatible.

The new standard uses an algorithm called "Intelligent Negotiation for Optimum Voltage (INOV)" which lets the device continually request a power level from the charger, from 3.6V to 20V, in 200mV increments. Quick Charge 2.0 only offered four charging voltages, but 3.0 offers 82 different voltage "sizes".

      • That one looks almost EXACTLY the same as the one with Quick Charge 2.0

        • Yep. Unless you have a QC3 phone it'll be exactly the same as the QC2 charger.

  • Nope, sorry, sale has not ended. Refreshed the page and it was ok. Bought one.

  • Any one knows what the different with this one?
    http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Qualcomm-Certified-Tronsmart-…

From same seller but different price.

    • looks to be the same device, just different seller and price

      • +1

They are both same sellers. Seller id: 1712080

        • whoops, ur right…. same product too, maybe the cheaper listing was only created for the sale thats on..

    • Yeah, looks like the same product, with a little bit more info under 'Product Details'.
Interestingly, at the bottom of 'Product Details' they say they can send out an extra adapter for your area, including AU-type
