  • I went with yokososim — I liked the fact that I would have it ready as soon as I landed and that there were no daily limit before I am throttled.

Check it out and compare before you buy, could fit you.

    Ebay link: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/yokososim-au/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=…

    • Thanks for the link. Good prices though DoCoMo reception and reliability is outstanding! And our sims are ready for landing, insert and go style!

      • So these are mailed out to you in Australia before you leave?

      • yokososim are also on DoCoMo AFAIK.

        • +1

The difference is that on Yokoso for the 15day sim ($36.00), you are looking at around 233MB per day at 4G then no 3G unlimited.
Where as TSD Sim (14day at $48) allows 200MB on 4G then unlimited 3G.

Just depends on how much data you need.

        • @lplau: Used the 14 day TSD card last year in Japan. 4G didn't get throttled at all. Think we racked up 27 GB of data in 9 days. Freaking awesome for the price.

  • Just to confirm, the T-Mobile sims you currently have are the multi size?

    • Yes they are!

  • Hi Rep for TMo do you have anything less than 6GB? Don't need that much data. Cheers.

    • Not at the moment, sorry!

    • Like Yanoflies suggested, you can go for the yokososim for A$36 or even cheaper with b-mobilefor 2204 yen (about A$26) if you don't need that much data.

Edit: Oops. My bad. You're talking about TMo.

  • Wow. That's a lot of tags.

  • I'm going in October :( Hoping there will be another sale arnd that time.

    • There definitely will :)

  • The code "newpluslow20" doesn't work

edit: nevermind, Op fixed it to "newlowplus20" in title

    • Thanks for the heads up :)

  • When do I need to decide and order by if I need it by Friday next week?

    • Express Post takes 1-2 business days and Regular 2-7 business days depends on where you are. We are in Melbourne so closer you are and if in a major city the quicker both postages would get to you.

  • I note that the T mobile don't include international calls to landlines anymore. Is this in fact so and also do you have any US Sims that do?
    Cheers

    • Right now we can't offer them but you can load that on separately later one using your card off the T-Mobile site.

  • Hi Rep,

I'm going to Japan for roughly three weeks (May 23rd - June 15), do you guys have anything that would suit me better than only getting the 14 day one since they have to be activated by May 30th?

    • Hi mate, we would be able to push for a June 2nd first use (or activation) and get it to last until June 15. You just cant use that 14 day sim until 14 days before leaving!

  • http://www.bmobile.ne.jp/english/ - Unlimited 14 days 4G is definitely better (Same Docomo network).
I've used those guys in 2014 and they are pretty good.
    And it's only ~28$.

    • And I can pick one up anywhere in Japan as them retail stores such as bic camera etc

  • Hi I'm interested in the t-mobile 6G plan sim. But I don't get when you say card has to activate by the 31st May. If I will be in the states from the 31/05 till 06/06. Can I still buy it? Or do I have to wait till the later ones?

    • Hey mate, that's fine for you. Go ahead. We only do that because sometimes people buy months and years in advance and that sort of planning is hard in this kind of industry.

  • Hi, im travelling to japan from 07/06/2016 - 19/06/2016.
would i have to wait for another deal?

    • +1

Yes I think you would. We will try to make the deal as quick as possible though!

  • Hi Rep,

this is a very specific question but I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime and according to this website Will my phone work, my phone is compatible on the T-Mobile network for 2G and maybe 3G. Are you able to provide any confirmation on this? My concern is purchasing this deal and getting over to the US only to find I won't have access to at least the 3G network. Thanks in advance.

    • It is very hard to say which of the two you will experience - as it see,s your phone will experiene either 2G or 3G across the states (but it is very dependent on where you are going and even to the specificity of where in each city etc)

      • I see. I notice this deal has expired. Is it still possible for me to get the sim at the discounted price? :(

        • Sorry about the late reply. Can you wait until next week? Might do another deal then!

  • Hey Rep!

Any deals on Japan? I'm going in 3 weeks, and require 2 14 day sims!

    • Hey! Will likely do a deal early-mid next week, can you wait until then?

      • Hi

        Would this also include USA

        • Yes! About to post it now!

      • For you guys, will do!!!
