The fact of the matter is that the free games with live are a lot better then plus. It may be due to sales being terrible for the xbox. I think sony need to pick it up a little though
@Where's_That_Cake: ps4 sales are pushed because the console came out $100 cheaper than the xbone and the xbone had a terrible salesman in Don Mattrick at release. PS4 is a good console, but I prefer xbone for dedicated Australian servers, elite controllers, external hdd support, and real account security. That's without mentioning a lot.

Not fanboyism or console wars, simply a statement of fact. I don't own a PS4, but I'd love to see owners get some AAA titles from PS+, hopefully the current comparison to XBL gets the ball rolling on that.

PS4 outsells xbox every month of it's life until now with the exception of a few (like when xbox had price drop). Also price is the same now so launch marketing and price not the reason I think.
It is fact that the hardware in PS4 is better and is proven with some multiplatform games being 1080p in ps4 and 720p on xbox.
I think this is what wheresthecake is referring to when he said trade off.
@suicine94: Can we agree that the launch is vital? xbox screwed up their launch and are still paying the price today. The main determining factor when selecting a console is can I play on the same platform as my friends. And with more ps4's out there due to a much better launch, well..
hardware. ps4 has slightly better GPU and RAM, xbox has a slightly better CPU. xbox has external harddrive support. battery for controller support. elite controllers. upcoming keyboard and mouse support. Both consoles suck compared to PC, and both companies are looking to put out better consoles ASAP.

How? more ps4 sold then xbox so ps4 exclusive more reach then xbox… what does windows 10 have to do with this? if it's available on PC it's not exclusive.

@suicine94: a playstation exclusive goes to the 40mill ps4 owners. an xbox exclusive goes to the 25mill xbox owners as well as any pc gamer running windows 10. according to steam this is 35% of steam users. Hence, an xbox exclusive will go to a far bigger audience of potential buyers.

Exactly my point. It's the same approach that Sony made when they were behind in sales to the 360 when it released earlier than the PS3. Push the free benefits and try and catch people's eye. Sony are now the ones in the driving seat letting their hardware do the talking and largely ignoring the users added subscription benefits.

I think you will find Cake was actually agreeing with Pacsman, with the added observation that, despite XBL being better quality when compared to PS+ it is still not enough to drive up sales of the Xbox One which is still lagging far behind in that regard.

Zombi's a good enough reason for me to upvote this. Bought it early last month when it was going for under $10 and don't regret it. It was much better than expected.
Sure beats last months lineup.
