First thing I do is remove Norton; I would never pay for it.

    Gifs not working anymore :(
    /gif shakes head

    • I was surprised Dick Smith failed - they had a cheap [$80] offer to take the shit off new systems at one stage…

Ohh, pay for the privilege to downgrade your pc.

    Is Norton really that bad?

    • +7

Norton is fine. Used to be a resource hog but now just hums along quietly in the background

Also, nothing special about this price - i bought the 3 license norton 360 version with more features for $30 off ebay two weeks ago

I found Bitdefender and Mcafee to be worse than Norton 360 on my pc, will try Kaspersky next if that aint any good I'm going back to 360

It's good now. Most people don't realise and still talk smack about it due to it being rubbish years ago (see: the comments on this deal).

      Bunch of idiots.

    • Norton is fine these days. Barely notice it running in the background, especially with Windows 10.

Though I do have an SSD and 16GB RAM.

  • Ive used windows defender for years now and i download /torrent tv shows movies pc games and music and not a single virus or problem.
why would i pay for something to use my ram and most likely make my pc worse.

not a bad deal, bought one key thanks OP

Norton is very good, don't listen to all these haters…

  • will this stack over existing subscription?

    • +1

it should if its the same version number

  • Isn't norton security premium the proper Norton product? This is just the nothing no?

    • You're right, Norton Security Premium is the latest product that was released by Symantec.

Norton Internet Security and Norton 360 were the old product names used up until last year. OP's description above says 'Internet Security 2016' which is incorrect, when you click on the product link to their website the 2016 reference is nowhere to be found. I don't have a problem with anyone selling off old stock at a cheap price, but to call an old product the 2016 version is misleading and false advertising.

The product key for Norton Internet Security should still be valid for a 1 year subscription, but strictly speaking you're only entitled to the older Internet Security product which should still have official support. I believe Norton will offer you a free upgrade to the 2016 Security Premium product but only if you agree to sign up for their automatic renewal service (which you can immediately cancel but you'll first need to provide billing details).

  • Bitdefender antivirus plus 2016 2 years on ebay for around $21 apparently it's the one to get

  • Best internet security hands down
