  • Did you recieve this as a flyer in the mail or as an attachment in an email?
They may not accept a printout on A4 paper etc..

    • Got it as an attachment in an email

    • +1

      They have always accepted printouts.

  • are these sales ever any good?

    • I went to Chadstone last time they had it. It is alright, I bought a few t-shirts but the stuff is still pretty expensive.

All you have to do is show the flyer when buying things but if you don't have it, you can sign up in-store to get the discount.

  • I'm thinking I might get some easy access pants with the clips so they can be ripped off with ease when i turn into superman?

    • They probably will have those; may not be with the clips but still should do the job; Just make sure you try some before you buy.

    • A guy at my high school had those, and people kept pulling them apart when he was sitting down, all the way up to the thigh. Not a great idea for school kids.

      • shouldn't he be wearing school uniform?

        • No school uniform requirement at my high school, everyone just wore what they want. I wasn't even sure if we had a school uniform.

At least put the date in the title or description. At work, my network doesnt let me open the image link.

Scotty, any way to change the image link as my companies security doesnt seem to like it.

I have to email my work email from home to print off vouchers, etc

    • +5

Whatever happened to manners and being polite. Please.

      • -8

I agree with the manners call though I dont believe my statements are in any way rude or demanding nor could be construed that way.

The first statement should not need a please, the poster has been lazy and provided no info whatsoever. If he doesn't edit, shouldn't the mods step in and update the listing with helpful details such as date, important t&c's, etc.

        • +1

Definitely came across as being at least slightly demanding mate. That's why you need manners; they don't cost a thing so OzBargainers should have plenty of them.

        • Wow, so now you are calling the OP (who is a first time poster by the way), for taking the effort to upload and post a nice deal, but didn't add a date for your convenience. I don't think I need to argue the fact you lack manners and etiquette. You've clearly proven it in your responses.

          • -4

@zhenjie: Now I'm calling the OP what? Finish off your statements

            • @sash213: Lazy.

No, you're not rude at all. Time to get your head out of your

Need me to finish of that statement too?

              • @zhenjie: Your lame, didn't ozpete put you in your place in the ADSL filter deal. In trying to enforce your views, your infact behaving in contrast to them.

                • -1

                  @sash213: yawns

                  • +2

@zhenjie: I don't think sash213 came off as rude..zhenjie you're coming off as a bit obnoxious and harsh with your comments (ironically)…just saying. No need to bash the man.

Sure he didn't exactly ask or say please but come on, I do agree that a date should have been put in the title or at least the description. Adding it isn't just for convenience. It's like submitting a deal without putting a price in the title.

                    Now I'm gonna get bashed..

                    • -1

@manbearpig: "No need to bash the man."

Calling the OP lazy? Oh yes, what an angel. I actually appreciate the OP taking the time to post a deal (as with others who take times to post deals). No need to bash the OP is what I'm saying. Shall we call everyone lazy if they accidentally leave out a bit of information?

                      • @zhenjie: god ur such a cliche internet troll
being perdantic over his grammar. its the internet, sum pplz lik 2 typ lik dis sumtimes wif leettle gramma cuz its ez-a and fasta 2 get da msg accross

we dont need to be constantly polite and courteous. this isnt a job interview where ur pretending to be outgoing, and the poster gets enough e-penis from the votes. doesnt need us bowing down to him with praise and courtesy in every sentence

                        • -1

                          @furythree: … Wow.

I think the initial point was: "you don't need to be a jerk", but then the argument spiraled into (un)witty banter… which is a reasonable expectation at a completely user-driven community.

                          FYI, nobody brought up grammar/spelling.

                        • -1

@furythree: A troll calling out another troll. the funnies :). Get over it buddy this argument was so 2 days ago.

        • +2

I think sash was only trying to let the OP know what is normally done in bargain posts like putting some extra details and info in so users can figure it out while they are thumbing through the numerous posts. I dont think he intended it to sound rude or demanding but rather when it is on the net, others can sometimes construe the wrong feelings or emotions from a post. I guess the argument really could be made that compared to most bargain threads, this one was very light on details.

      14th and 15th April

    • +3

      It's the 15th & 16th of April

  • so the coming thursday?

  • so does this mean that the QVB store is only on sale on the thursday and not friday?

    • I think "one day only" means 24 hour sale. They list the business hours which is roughly around 1 day if you add Thursday and Fridays trading hours together.

If it was 'one day only' (such as Thursday only) I'd suspect they would have all the stores within the state on sale the same day otherwise they'll confuse customers.

      • -1

        Really? Thats an interesting theory

I think its the Thursday for half the stores and Friday for the other half.

Considering that the ones above the line give Thursdays hours and the ones below give Fridays

      • Pretty sure top half is Thursday and bottom half is Friday.

      • +1

        I'M WRONG!!!! Sash213 & Morphio are correct.

I phoned Adidas Factory Outlet, Harbour Town. They confirmed it's Thursday ONLY.

        • Cheers guys… Let's do some retail therapy

  • thank you so much!

  • Is the warehouse in Collingwood much cheaper/better than any normal outlet store?

Thanks for the heads up OP.

  • Time to stock up on adidas socks.. this discount would make them very reasonable price..

  • lovin it

  • Considering that the listed store above the line sale on Thursdays hours and the ones below sale on Fridays. Anyone can help to confirm that. It is really confused with the statement "one day sale"

  • +3

I don't get why people are getting confused with this.

If the store is above the line, the sale is ONLY on Thursday for that store.

If the store is below the line, the one day sale is ONLY on Friday.

    • It would have made sense if they had the entire State on sale the same day like they usually do.

I phoned Adidas. They confirmed you are correct.

      • I don't think all the Victorian stores will be on sale at the same day, anyway there was a 30% off storewide recently in February

  • The Nike 40% storewide is prob the one worth going to. Spent a good $600+ last time.. and its actually storewide, as compared to Adidas. I went to the Perth one last year, only the shoes and 2 racks were on special, everything else was at full price.

  • I think they selected the Sale Day for stores to fall on days when there's late night shopping.. Thus maximising Sale opening hours for buyers. Does make it confusing though.

  • When is the Nike 40% off sale?

I need some new slides/thongs, considering adidas or nike.

    • I think its June/July

  • Anyone know if the lidcombe store is a factory outlet or just a normal store??? Are the prices the same between the lidcombe store and the QVB and Pitt St store?

On the lookout for some new shoes.

    Thanks

    • I'm pretty sure it's an outlet

  • AH thanks. Is the outlet cheaper than the QVB and Pitt St Store? Cause i'm looking for some new shoes…

How large is the shoe range at Lidcombe? I know the QVB store is pretty much all shoes….

    Cheers

  • So which is the biggest store in Sydney, guys?

  • The lidcombe store has all the old adidas merchandise store that the Pitt St/QVB stores give them which makes it a factory outlet for discounted shoe prices. The Pitt St 1 is for the sport (performance) stuff. The QVB store is for the casual store. Can't wait to get those Adidas Barricade shoes for just over $100 (the 1's that Jo Wilfred Tsonga wore at the Australian Open)

  • Thanks!

  • Going to DFO Cheltenham shortly.

Not really looking for shoes, rather NBA merchandise.
Will report back when I've returned.

  • Wow! That sale really went off! Everything was so cheap :)

  • Prices are very similar to what Puma are when they have an outlet sale.
Not much variety of shoes in the outlet stores and they don't have the latest styles, models, or good sizes.

I am going to try the Sport Performance Centre @ Bourke Street Mall on Friday.
They seem to have some NBA gear and might have what I'm looking for.

  • Went to the Lidcombe Factory outlet. Bought some nice bags and some shoes. Shoes not the greatest in design but for $45 each for genuine Adidas i can't really complain.

I heard one of the store workers over the phone saying that the voucher had been pulled off ozbargain. Apparently not!

  • I'm planning to go to Chapel St in the morning. Hope they have a good range of stock!

    I will post after visiting.

  • Went to the Lidcombe Factory outlet today. They seemed to already have an in-store sale seeing as most some shoes were as low as $70 already. With the voucher most shoes were $30-50. Fantastic bargain! I left with 6 pairs of shoes and also some apparel.

Good sizes were hard to find though, especially with the clothing. Plenty of XL and above, but hardly anything below that.

  • Went to Chapel St this morning and was a little disappointed as there wasn't a large range (the store assistant said they didn't bring in extra stock for the sale). There was a limited range and limited sizes. Some hoodies and jackets were $250-500 before discount. Someone there mentioned that the store is a discount store and has had 40% off for a while. I purchased 1 hoodie and 1 t-shirt.

  • So I went to Doncaster yesterday and brought some new compression clothes, man it was packed in there, and hardly any stock of the techfit range, they only had one S M L of each top and shorts. Either way I grabbed all the M's and a new running top, came in at $99 instead of $165, pretty sweet saving.

  • I went to DFO Cheltnam and scored a few bargains, stock was already discounted as it is a factory outlet I paid $87 for 1 hoodie and 2 jackets.
the Original RRP total was $240 but store price was $150 + 40% discount = massive bargain thankyou

  • I went to Brisbane's Queen St today at noon and it was jam packed! There were also people who didn't have the 40% off printout and were just staring at people with those… lol. The cashier took mine and piled up behind the counter and I estimate there were at least 100 sheets of those printouts. Thanks again for the awesome deal. I paid $420 worth of stuff, which my brother's boots cost almost half of that lol :) There were still many sizes to pick from, and most of the stuff I wanted had the size I want == M. I think that's the size everybody wants too!

  • Waste of time…no bargain @ Rundle Mall, SA. All over priced!!!

    • ?? How you know they are over priced?

  • I forgot about it, but i suspect that they didn't have much in my size anyway [shoes: 16, slides: 15, Shirts: XXL or XXXL].
Jam packed in brisbane also. Probably saved myself some frustration by forgetting. :)
