  • Hi Rep

    Any deals in Adelaide ?

    • 5 star Mayfair Hotel Adelaide (has awesome reviews also) best Fri-Sun weekend to go is:

      $412 on 27th - 29th May (2 nights)
      http://www.hotel.com.au/accommodation/directhotel.htm?hoteli…

      Or also $412 on 3rd - 5th June (2 nights) or 10th Jun weekend also $412
      http://www.hotel.com.au/accommodation/directhotel.htm?hoteli…

      • This is cheaper via CheapTickets (even if you take into account currency conversion fee if you don't have a 28 Degree CC) with their 20% coupon. YMMV.

        • -4

The prices quoted above are in $AUD and include free cancellation up to 1 day before arrival. Also I tried but couldn't get the 20% coupon to work.

        • +3

          @SleepWithUs:

The coupon code is TRAVELER20 and also includes cancellation up until 1 day before arrival.

          • $281.40 USD = $366.46 (A saving of $45.54 AUD) which includes free cancellation up until 1 day before arrival.
          • $253.14 USD = $329.26 (A saving of $82.74 AUD) for an Non-Refundable rate.

Or if to you want to use an Australian site and pay in AUD then book via Webjet using code saveme75 and you will pay $383 AUD for the same Deluxe King Room used in each example with free cancellation up until 1 day before arrival.

        • +1

@SleepWithUs: I can confirm the cheaptickets code is working :)

        • +3

@adelee: So if we make the Cash Reward $30 instead of $25 for first time bookers we are $1 cheaper than Webjet instead of $4 off, so lets do that on this deal. $30 cash reward for first time bookers at Mayfair Adelaide, valid for bookings made in April 2016. And I'm glad we could help with actually identifying which weekend was the best price/best time to go at the moment :)

        • @SleepWithUs:
I can only see it saying non refundable. Does this mean you can cancel for free but not get a refund?

  • Ooo very good price. It's a pity I live 10 minutes away. lol

    • +2

Well, how much a night, including breakfast?

      • If you're a michelin star chef, then it's free. If not, I'd like to get paid in Picasso paintings.

      • -1

With breakfast options are available from $222.95 per night for 2 people or an extra $20.80 per night per person.

        • -1

Guess I should have expected this deal without breakfast - still disappointed though it's not included :(

    • Ah yes, but does someone make the bed and the clean the house for you each morning!

      • That is the worst logic I have heard.

  • Gotta love thw OPs name lol

    • Well, we all know hotels are a great place to film orgies

      • Reminds me of that episode of Nathan for You

Guys its cheaper to book with hilton directly with the 40% flash sale they have at the moment as per https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/241089
    use promo code : PR05HR
    and "use flexible dates"

It applies to all hilton hotels in australia not just sydney.

    It is NON REFUNDABLE however.

I've just done a dummy booking for the 15th-17th July and it comes to $358.00 for the same room.

Also do note that booking via hilton directly earns you hhonors points and counts towards stays for higher tier membership.

  • Any deals from 12th may to 15th may op?

    • 12-15th May appears to be a tough weekend to find a deal in Sydney. Most of the 5 star hotels are at least $900+ for the 3 nights. The Adina Apartment Hotel might be a good option at $608 for the 3 nights - 4.5 star on cnr of Kent and Bathurst St http://www.hotel.com.au/accommodation/DirectHotel.htm?hoteli…

  • Any deals in ADL for the April school holidays (8/4-26/4)?

  • How do you get the $25 email discount?

    • It requires an email with your first Booking# to [email protected] with your Australian Bank Account or Paypal details. Payment is made within 3 days after check-in date.

      • +1

Is that written anywhere I can see it in writing?
Also, that sounds a very manual process.

  • We don't do coupon codes but we do do cash rewards. I have actually written the offer above, it also appears on the Hotel.com.au home page with a $150 minimum spend, which isn't generally relevant when you are talking about 5 star hotels, we don't try and wiggle out of giving cash rewards for valid first time bookings and we would prefer that customers trial our service rather than not. If you are planning ahead for a longer stay/bigger trip we also have a new Price Guardian service here http://www.hotel.com.au/group/price-guardian.htm, let me know what you think.

We also offer a $25 cash reward for first time bookers with Hotel.com.au. Before you read this post would you have booked the 1 night Fri 20th May for $329 or would you have found the 13th May rate for $179? I hope you can see that we are trying to help and have done the homework to let you know when is a good time to stay.

And the hilton.com/mvp/ (mvp is most valuable player?) link provided does mention it's for sports administrators "Please note: You must be an athletic administrator, athlete, or affiliated with a sports entity, sports-related company, sports group or event to be eligible".

  • pity hilton's twin rooms are 2 x single beds. at least marriott, shangtila and inter continental have big 2 x dbl beds twin tooms with views.

the pullman deal is good though.

    • Not really, Accor members it's $152 a night @ Pullman.

  • looking at sydney july 23rd - but it's showing as non refundable? how does the cash reward work?

    • Some of the best prices are the non-refundable rates and on the 23rd July there is a big premium for a flexible rate. The cash reward is for first time bookers at Hotel.com.au and we just need an email to [email protected] with your booking# and Australian bank account or paypal account. The cash reward is paid within 3 days of your check-in date.

  • Hi,

Sorry to crash this deal but do you have any international promotions going on?

Any deals for Japan from 25th June to 17th July?

    Thanks

    • Hi Chumly, staying on the Hilton theme, the link below will show you prices at 8 cities across Japan for the 22 nights.

What we we did with the Hilton Sydney was find the cheapest weekends to stay using any weekend in the next 6 months, if you have fixed dates it gets a little harder to find the best price.

      http://www.hotel.com.au/listcountrybybrand.htm?CountryID=49&BrandID=260&Checkin=2016/06/25&Checkout=2016/07/17&roomscount=1&rooms[0].adultsCount=2&rooms[0].childrenCount=0

If you've got a city and hotel preference it would help a lot too!

  • I stay here regularly. It's not that great.

5 star does not mean luxury; in fact "luxury" hotels don't really seem to exist anymore.

  • Like someone above said The standard rooms really are not that great and very small. I find compared to the reputable five stars hotels like westin and intercontinental in Sydney, it's not worth it. The suites must be nice but I never tried them. However The location is brilliant. Right across town hall

  • Anything good for anchorage Alaska for the night of the 12 August 16 , thanks

  • The Hilton Sydney have really small cramped rooms. Shoebox rooms that's you would not expect from a five star (even in Sydney where the rooms can be quite small) and they feel very closed in. Beds are uncomfortable and my last stay there a couple of years ago was probably the worst sleep I've ever had in a hotel.

If you're looking for a cheap stay it's probably worth while (location is great) but if you're looking for a good five star hotel this isn't it.

    • The building is very thin but the location is great.

    • At the moment The Westin Sydney is $540 for a 2 night stay for the weekend of 24th June - often sells for over $800+ for most other weekends. Please scroll down on the link below to see the $540 rate, also non-refundable, http://www.hotel.com.au/accommodation/directhotel.htm?hoteli…

What is it with all the people asking the rep for 'any deals'? These flight / hotel room agregator posts seem to bring out the laziness in everyone. Why not take a couple of minutes to run a quick search for the location and dates you need?
