        That one is the half the price of this one. That in itself is enough.

      Thanks for your reply. Here are something that we would like to address. Currently there is no authorized distributor of Xiaomi's products in Australia. As long as we are selling genuine products and procure from official channel from China, we are eligible to sell Xiaomi's products on eBay. Every item will be sent from Sydney warehouse to our customer or pickup from warehouse. The price changed due to the increase of international shipping cost. Compare to some top rated local sellers on eBay, we are selling this products at a good price. Price may also vary in the future regarding to the cost associated to this particular product.           @sobredz: The going rate for the band is $12-$14 USD each depending on quantity or about $16-18 AUD with conversion. No one is asking you to ship it over here via FEDEX overnight, so the shipping from China will probably average about $2 AUD each if you did it via surface mail as a batch for a total of $20. Hence you are making a very healthy $20 margin per band given $4 left is used as postage to your customer. That is a 100% profit margin. If you are asking for a $5 margin plus postage ($28-30 AUD or so), then it may be plausibly a bargain in some people's books. But that will only be because some people want the stock quickly rather than dropshipping, so that will pretty much be your target audience.
          Even then, I'm pretty sure that we can get one delivered by courier here within 10 days for around $30.

        You need to be competitive in items which are under $50-70 category. As most people won't care for local stock in this price bracket and happy to buy it from overseas if they are getting it for half price.

        I understand that you need to import the items; charge shipping; pay eBay/Paypal fees and make a profit. However, charging $43.95 for a product readily available for $20-$22 isn't going to work very well. This $24 mark-up for local stock wouldn't be an issue on a $200+ item (like phones), but is hard to swallow for a $20 item like the Miband 1S. In answer to your question about what would I pay for local stock of this item … $29.95 … but that is probably why there are only a handful of "local" sellers stocking this item with modest comparative sell rates on eBay.
