Mum picked one up from Bing Lee yesterday for $50.
The guy mentioned she could have it for $53 then she said she had a $50 note in her purse and he took it

EC is a bodybuilder.
Wondering if he uses blender for protein purposes

Make veg/fruit smoothies. I use an Aldi pro blender most mornings and make around 1-1.5L of smoothy for the day. I have half for breakfast and the rest in drinking bottles throughout the morning/afternoon.
Would this be powerful enough to crush decent sized ice cubes?
Going to be mixing frozen fruits, oats, PB and protein.
700w should be plenty for ice cubes - and all the other things you listed.

Same. Must be a very recent price drop, only got ours a few weeks ago.
Very sad. Great blender but I'll now forever see it as blending my cash into nothing.
Myer has the Dyson DC47 Multifloor on sale for $600, from $799. Any chance Myer would price match closer to JB's $449??? I have a Myer gift card to use and it's frustrating because everything they sell is so overpriced

Really depends on who you talk to. Or just try to use their gift card to buy a ColeMyer Group Gift Card and then using that buy a JB-Hifi Gift Card from Coles :)
That does not work. I have tried before and the system does not allow it to happen.

Myer have a price match policy and they are usually pretty good about it if you get the right person. I've matched Bose QC25's from Boombeats at myer and they honoured it. I also just this weekend matched harris scarfe Van Heusen shirts on clearance for $24 and they also honoured it even in a different style (don't think the guy realised). Don't forget Myer one points.
They are much more fibrous and sometimes all the solid bits don't get liquified.

Can I stick my banana in this to pulverize and extract the nutrients?
@GameChanger: It's against the Ozbargain spirit but I am not looking for any reductions here

Thanks OP was in my local jb at about 4:30 and they close at 5, thought id be cheeky and asked a staff member if I could reserve one and grab it tomorrow when $44 (they didn't have too many on display) he stuck a $44 sticker on it to save me the hassle of coming back tomorrow good bloke :)

is the DC47 really that bad a vacuum? Getting JB vouchers from an insurance claim. Need a new vacuum.

That is worrying. I've been weighing up the various Dysons vs. getting a decent bagged vac and buying some bags in bulk. Even on sale the Dysons are more costly and had better be worth it.
Everyone raves about the cordless V6's and I don't see how this DC47 one would be worse/terrible as it is essentially similar mechanisms?
This one has an air-powered turbine head which is basically a gimmick, needs an electric motorhead.

Doesn't look like it's worth it tbh.
"Attach to your Nutri Ninja® Cups to bring your nutrient-rich Super Juices on-the-go"
So i guess this one better as it more powerful

My Mix & Go was on its last legs so the timing couldn't have been better.

I already have a 1000 watt nutri ninja but thinking of buying a spare for no reason
Just picked up one of these in South Adelaide. Plenty of stock.
Perfect timing as I've had to buy a heap of fruit for a kindy breakfast, and leftovers are going to be maximally amplified in nutritional value once the Ninja is finished with them.
Abysmally slow when it comes to organising the collection for a pick up. Ordered well before the store opened. Store closes at 9 today so hoping they send the email by then.

Great stuff. Prompted me into getting one…….actually two from local Woolworths for $89.00 as a friend wanted one as well. I wont quibble over the $0.50c diference per unit. Great value and works very well indeed. Nice find OP.
It craps all over my George Foreman (which was just ok)…….hahaha. Sorry George! First impulse-buy in a while; no regrets. Eagerly awaiting lazy chef shenanigans.
Any blender recommended that will blend ice? Also looking for roughly 1L capacity
According to the reviews, this can crush ice. Up to you, but you can also buy a 900mL cup separately: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/whitegoods-appliances/kitchen-appl....
Yeah I saw that accessory but it's not compatible with this blender

Bing Lee now have these at $44. Picked one up yesterday and did an awesome watermelon and apple smoothie.
I should have opted a store pickup. Went for delivery and the so-called Toll "Priority" is making me regret for that choice because I missed a Friday delivery. Despite their website suggesting a next business day pickup for online forms filled out before 7 pm, still there is no call or message from them. Called them yesterday and today and my order is still not ready for a pickup (though there was a delivery attempt on Friday). Someone will contact me when it's ready for a pickup. Bl**dy hell!
