  • This is the first time I've heard of the Fast charger. Does this mean it'll work with the S6 edge's fast charging capabilities?

    • 5V/2A input and output. It's a fast charger but not on the level of QC enabled devices (9v/1.6A).

      • Is quickcharge different to fastcharge?

e.g You need a Qualcomm Quickcharge supported phone to use Quickcharge, do you need anything to use 'Fastcharge'? Or any phone will work

        • Fast charge afaik, only increased power to 10w.So if your phone says it can take 2a input then you're in business

    • +1

https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/237982 You want this. Looks highly similar but has QC.

Edit: They link to Banggood's Quickcharge model on this deal, though the one on their website seems to be the non-QC version… Hmm. Rep please clarify?

    • Looks to be the new Xiaomi Pro power bank that support Qualcomm QC2. I believe this is the only one Xiamoi has currently that has Type C USB. Would be good if Eveybuying clarified this.

Will this fast-charge the Nexus 6P? This phone does do a fast charge, but not using the Qualcomm 2 fast charge standard. Thanks.

    • my understanding is that the 6p will just charge as quickly as it can. that is to say, you put it on a 0.5A charger and it will go slowly. you use a factory or other USBC compliant port and it will charge very quickly and show the "charging rapidly" status. anything in between and the rate of charge will vary proportionally.

this is based on a few experiments with various chargers, so if anyone knows anything more official then i'd love to hear it.

    • It will charge at 2A, which is faster than a type-A charger or power bank (typically a max of 1.5A, limited due to the negotiation of legacy USB), but not the maximum rate of 3A, which is what the stock charger will give you.

  • Hi OP, will there be any codes coming up for the Xiaomi Mi4C (32GB) phone?

  • Is it Quick Charge 2.0? how long does it take to arrive australia?

    • It will state Qualcomm QC certified if it is.

    • Looks to be the new Xiaomi Pro power bank that support Qualcomm QC2. I believe this is the only one Xiamoi has currently that has Type C USB. Would be good if Eveybuying clarified this.

  • Depends where you throw it from.

  • AH, bought the Piston 3 in the previous deal, i didn't even realise there was an updated version! Great deals though!

  • Damn it, spent US$18 yesterday for these earphones…

  • Anyone knows the difference between Xiaomi Pocket 10000mAh Mobile Power Bank to this?

    • I believe this is the new Xiaomi Pro power bank that support Qualcomm QC2 & Type C USB. Would be good if Eveybuying clarified this.

      • +1

Please some one give him clarification. I saw this message three times already.

        • I was replying to specific questions (same basic question asked multiple times), so the individuals would get a notification. The way the comments work here, unless you regularly check back & scroll through ALL comments, you wont know if a query has been answered unless it is a direct reply to your question.

    • based on everbuying's image in the product page, it has the USB Type C connector, so it should be the new one.
If it is, whats new in this version:
      * Type C charging it and phones (Nexus 5X)
      * QC2.0 and FastCharge 5V 2A?
      * Slimmer, i think?

  • Anyone know if you can buy after market or alternative earbuds for these? they sounds great but keep slipping out of my ear hole :(

    • I'd be interested in this as well, haven't had earphones for years but this used to be the case with me as well.

    • Have a look at Comply memory foam ear tips.

The 200 series tips would probably fit the Xiaomi Hybrid judging by how similar it looks to the Piston III's build, but i'm not 100% sure about this.
Also, take note, they have a couple of different shapes and sizes, so your mileage may vary.
Massdrop is having a sale for them at the moment which may be cheaper after considering currency conversion. Link to them here

I personally bought these foam ear tips from Amazon for my Piston III's and in my opinion they provide deeper and more impactful bass but so-so isolation compared to the stock silicon ear tips.
I have larger ears and bought the large pair, and since it is foam any smaller would easily fall out for me.
The upside is that they are comfortable, the downside is that they don't stay on the earphone itself, so when I pull the earphone out they are still in my ear 50% of the time, therefore it's very easy to lose them if you are not careful. I'm still trying to figure out a way to fix them firmly onto the earphone :p

The Amazon ones are a heck of a lot cheaper, $4-$5 delivered compared to $20USD for Comply, and i'm glad I did.
Having said that, if I had a $100-$200+ pair of earphones I would go Comply, no questions.

  • Rep, please confirm details about powerbank as per requests above. There's a big difference between quick charge and fast charge.

    • we confirmed with the supplier that they are the same one

  • Thanks OP

  • Hi

I would get one if I knew for certain it can Quick Charge my s7 Edge.

I have googled and read several sites but not much detail on the fast charge technology.

    Qualcomm 2.0 or…?

    can store rep please clarify?

    • Hi,we confirmed that is can charge your s7 Edge

      • Hi thx for the reply.

But can it Quick Charge my s7 Edge?

        i.e. supports Qualcomm's quick charge QC 2.0?

        • Unless you have an American s7 edge, then you probably have the Exynos version with Samsung's 'Fast Adaptive Charging'. 9v 1.67a I believe. And yes, this power bank can charge the phone at full speed regardless.

        • @mrdavedave:

          Thanks for the information.

I purchased a Anker Qualcomm power bank, hope it can charge my Exynos Edge fast.

  • Any deals on USB C to regular USB cables?

    e.g. http://www.everbuying.net/product1115138.html

    Thanks

    • Hi,we will check the price with supplier and let you know the deal information next week,so that supplier is on weekend now.

Guys, you should be aware that this company is most likely the same as Gearbest. Unfortunately I couldn't get any solid proof (other than them being hosted at the same place, almost same IP range, and registered through the same registrar with whois protection), but if you google "everbuying is gearbest", lots of people have complained about their bad service, and about them both being the same company.

    • +1

Everbuying = Gearbest and yes monty.melb knows it :P

  • My hybrids arrived today, sound is very disappointing. My old piston 2's leave it for dead by a country mile (pitty I lost them). Even the stock headphones that came with my LG G4 are way better. Really lack any base. Mine sound like $5 headphones. I'm wondering if they are genuine.

    • +1

      where did you buy from?
The Hybrids best feature is supposed to be their strong bass.

      • It was this deal from everbuying. Not sure why the bass suck on mine then. I also find my phone keeps thinking the headphones are unplugged every time I move, even thought they are well plugged in. Never done done it with the oem LG headphones.

    • +1

I purchased these through the geekbuying deal and they arrived yesterday. I've found the sound to be fantastic, well above what I was expecting. I prefer them to my Sony xba-3 IEM's (which were about $330 when new). Plenty of bass. Seems strange they'd be non-genuine though when the genuine's are so cheap?

      • +1

Need headphones amp with very low output impedance to bring out the XBA's bass

… or, saving the mucking around and enjoy the Xiaomi's :)

    • Ordered from Gearbest on the 8th and received today. Strong bass and sounded awesome! Did yours come with a QR label? Mine came attached to the cable and when scanned, brought me to Xiaomi website saying I passed authentication.

      • Yes mine has a QR label but I did not scan it. Seems pretty easy to copy - unless they are unique?

  • +2

I received mine today, oddly enough it says the parcel was shipped from Germany. Any ideas why?

    • Same here. At least the lyrics didn't mysteriously get translated to Deutsch

  • +1

I received mine today. I'm not an audiophile, but they sound pretty good to me; they are very loud and have a lot of bass. They also look genuine to me, though I don't exactly know how you'd tell. Here is an album of the earphones and packaging I received, for those interested/concerned: http://imgur.com/a/2ZtOv

    • If you scan the QR code on the tag which is on the cable then apparently that will indicate whether they are genuine.

      • Cheers, I scanned mine and it came back genuine. I'm pretty happy with them.

  • Can you please help me find out why mine hasn't arrived?
