What are you normal prices on these items? How much are the savings?

    • -2

Click on the link and it tells you. Surely you know better than this jv?

      • -4

        link and it tells you

It is up to the OP to justify why they posted this as a bargain.

        Read the posting rules…

eg. this one looks like it's just their normal price. It hasn't been reduced.

        • Hi,

We do not put original price due to different reason. As the TS-453A-4G is a new model and newly list with a bargain price in the market, so it does not mark an original price but we still put it on sales item.

          Sales Team

        • If you are aware they have not followed posting guidelines, it would be more effective to simply point out what they have done wrong and how it should be done.

Would you consider taking this approach JV? as I think it would be beneficial for everyone involved.

Not great for your post count, but it's a worthy sacrifice.

          @gummibear:

point out what they have done wrong

I did that in my first comment

        • @jv:

I did that in my first comment

          What did they do wrong?

        • @gummibear:

          Didn't follow the posting rules

        • @jv:

          Didn't follow the posting rules

And did you correct them in the hope they will improve their current post and take with them a lesson on how to correctly post?

        • @gummibear:

          And did you correct them

          I can't edit the post…

        • @jv:

No one would expect you to edit the post, however you have said you pointed out what they have done wrong with your first post.

I did that in my first comment

However the first post only shows 2 questions.

What are you normal prices on these items? How much are the savings?

So if you aren't able to edit posts, maybe it would be better to not ask questions as it doesn't seem to be an effective or fast way to make positive changes to posts.

        • @gummibear:

However the first post only shows 2 questions.

Yep, that's what the OP should have included.

        • @jv:

Yep, that's what the OP should have included.

If you agree they should have provided that info, then you should state what the expectation is in the first post so they can quickly make the correction.

I'm glad you see what a helpful first post should contain when trying help OP's follow guidelines.

          Thanks JV

        • @gummibear:

If you agree they should have provided that info

I did, in my first comment.

        • @jv:

then you should state what the expectation is in the first post so they can quickly make the correction.

Oh so you agreed with the rest of the sentence also? That's great.

Prices look pretty good to me. Looks to be the cheapest price ever on the ML10V2, and most other things look to be significantly cheaper than other retailers.

The STCU300 for example - cheapest price on shopbot is $216 PLUS shipping.

      • -5

Prices look pretty good to me.

They might be, but the way it's been posted looks more like an 'advertisement' than a bargain…

  • +2

The Seagate 4 Bays Business NAS ($179) was the same price on the 4th on March

Some of the others seem to be cheaper than before, but the 'regular' prices aren't regular at all it seems.

    • Would you prefer vendors not to run specials regularly?

You may as well include half the regular ozb vendors in that category then.

      • -2

Would you prefer vendors not to run specials regularly?

They need to say why they posted this as a bargain…

        • Do they? Are you a mod, jv?

  • Whats the difference (apart from $70) between the 4 bay NAS and 4 bay NAS Pro?

    • +2

      Hi,

The 4 bay Pro is more powerful, faster CPU, 2GB RAM instead 512mb in normal 4 Bay, which support more users.

      Regards,
      Sales Team

      • Why is there a 2% handling fee?
You need to update the title of the post…

        • +2

Why is there a 2% handling fee?

It's takes them time to count your money…

        • Hi,

The 2% handling fee is only applied to Paypal / Credit card payment as it is charged by Paypal and credit card company.

If you would like to avoid surcharge, you can make payment by Bank transfer / pay cash or EFTPOS at pick up.

          Regards,

          Sales Team

        • @pclan: Thanks, ordered one. Can I suggest you change the post to document the 2% extra?

        • +1

          Hi,

Just edit the post. Thanks for your order! :)

  • Rep, can you ship to AusPost Parcel Lockers ? Which carrier do you use ? I am from Melbourne, 3000

    • Theres a shipping calculator on the cart. It specifically says no parcel locker/ po boxes for the free shipping option. There is another option you may be able to use but the standard is $199 and $499 for express (for me in wa anyway).

      • Hi,

Since the box size of a server is too big and it cost much more expensive on Australian Post (FYI, we pay $150+ to ship a ML10v2 to Parcel Locker in TAS). If customer want to have a quote for PO Box in their location, please drop us a message with your postcode and we will let you know the extra cost. Thank you!

        Sales Team

  • Thanks Rep bought the business nas last time , works great with my WD HD Live.

  • +1

Any chance you will have more 6 bay Seagates?

    • Yes would really like to buy a 6-bay at that price if there is a chance of more.

  • +1

Hi Rep, could you please advise why some of your website prices are not the same as in the post despite this post having an expiry date of 30 April?
    Examples:
    HP ProLiant ML10v2 Server/NAS G3240 3.1Ghz 4GB 4-Bay 3.5" NHP B120i 1Yr $199.95 Shipped(pclan.com.au) is now AU$219.00
    HP ProLiant ML10v2 Server/NAS G3240 3.1Ghz 8GB 4-Bay 3.5" NHP B120i 1Yr $260 Shipped is now AU$285.00

    • Sorry we sold out the diskless server and the post is now updated… New stock is coming now but can't hold the special price so now is $20/$25 more expensive. We are trying to get more special deal at the moment!

      Regards,

      Sales Team
